So for English at school, we need to make a magazine, which will be a all-term assignment. I'm doing basketball (DUH!) and my main article is a season in review feature. I've just made a list of what I'm going to do for the article, and want to see if you guys think I should change any of the rankings!!

Durant vs Love is arguable both ways IMO! Durant doesn't have a defensive or follow up game yet! Love does!

And... Lin had a better breakout, but didn't have the longevity that Ilyasova did! So both would work!

I think you'll find Durant's defensive stats have improved dramatically this season. He was the best one-on-one defender (stats-wise), I just need to find that article!
 
Bobcats not a big disappointment?

I think Rubio would've been ROTY if not injured is that what you were saying or picking Kyrie anyway?

Most improved - Gortat, Avery Bradley lol, Pekovic?

Underrated - Al Jeff and Millsap never get any love

Coach - Thibodeau ahead of Pop IMO, shuffling the lineup with Rose out etc, Spurs had all players didn't they?

Anyway, most are debatable just go with what you think, pretty good lists!

Good on ya young fella, pretty spot IMO.

Could always change a thing here or there. Hell there was that much debate when basketball named it's 500 best players. Apparently the top 10 was'nt even correct.

Spurs missed Manu Ginobili for much of the season also. Plus they don't play in the weak as sh*t East.

Well he only played in 34 games this year. Similar to Rose. Plus has also been in MVP talk like Parker was this year (Manu last year when Spurs were top he carried them and was injured in the playoffs).

I think the Lin call is spot on too. Can always argue the call but it looks like Lin will win the nba's vote for MIP.

Again, pretty solid go for the young fella. These kind of things are easily debateble.
 
Thanks for all the feedback guys, I'm working on it now (writing a para for each spot). I will change some things here and there, and will let you know the full list on Friday! Also, if you want, I can post what else I'm putting in the mag in this thread, including a made up interview with Monta Ellis, haha!!

I reckon the Dallas vs OKC game where Durant hit the Game Winner is Right Up there

Irving was the Best Rookie and Rubio is right up there as he had a stellar season with the Timberwolves to bad he got injured.

Faried HAS TO be higher than Rubio, Rubio had 10pts 8ast and an efficiency rating of 14.6, Faried had 10pts 8reb and a efficiency rating of 21.4 (higher than both Irving and Thomas too) and the only one of the 4 who made the playoffs.

Its not that hard to get to the playoffs when you play with the Nuggets when you have a Really Competitive Team and its Not LIke Faried was ABSOLUTELY Most important Player in his Team. With Rubio, he and Love nearly got them to the Playoffs by them Self!

Love would be Killing it when Rubio was having a Good Game Passing. When Rubio got injured the Timberwolves crumbled. For Irving he did everything right but his team mates couldn't back it up night after night. Its a learning experience for Irving

And that Efficiency rating to me is BS......it makes no sense to me:crazy:
 
I agree in having Rubio ahead of Faried. Play Faried out as many minutes and watch that efficiency drop. Still a tough call though.

But Rubio turned a franchise around.
