This isn't about who's the best, I don't care who that is.
Who will win this years MVP ?

I should have added Howard, sorry, let me know if you think he should get it.

I am biased - fact

But, I genuinely believe that Tony Parker should be a serious candidate for the MVP. I know his stats aren't close, but as far as 'Value to his team', I can't see anyone better!!

His stats will always suffer playing under Pop because as soon as the Spurs have a buffer, they rest! Unlike OKC and Miami, they play for the big stat! Durant's shooting can be detrimental as much as helpful!

Lebron has been brilliant, but the Heat have been dependent on 3 big performances!

CP3:p

Why would you even look at that its soo screwed up!

I agree... but it is a quick stat that shows the impact a player has 'WHILE ON THE FLOOR'
With the Spurs especially, their stats are skewed because they only play while it is necessary! When there is any sort of lead, the rest. This affects ALL stats! TP could easily have played more game time throughout the year and tried to beat Rondo for the most triple doubles, but that is not gonna happen under Pop!

Oh.... and you have to halve CP3's assists stat because at least half of them are gimme's in the way of lobs to Griff or Deandre

i havent seen enough ball this year to make an accurate assumption.
i gather lebron will win the award, though i'll be voting for CP3, just coz i can :D

.............GO CLIPS

Toss up between LeBron and Durant..I think it's a close call, even statistically and team records are practically identical. I think ultimately, LeBron should win it because he's had a bit more injuries to team mates and he's actually developed a better mid range game this year with a better shot selection. He's stepped up big in some close games this year as well.
