Signature and rookie cards?

Since 1988 to present, what year and box brand tended to hold great and valuable signature and rookie cards? I've bought a few boxes which have been c@£P lol What box should I try next with valuable signature cards and rookie? Year and make?
 
Just looking for any box for
1988 to Present which would be worth buying that have decent sig cards and rookie. Alot of these cards we're over produced which sucks. What year do u recommend?
 
There's some nice rookie classes.

I like 05/06, 07/08, 08/09 Sp Authentic.

03/04 Topps finest has some quality stuff.

But either way, you need to have some luck to hit the good stuff.
 
If you got the $, go for a case of 03-04 Exquisite! Definetly not over produced and has the most expensive rc cards of the best rookies to date!
 
Isn't 1 box of exquisites around $400???? Thats one pricey box but yea I heard there awsome. Can u guys get those

$400 would be a bargain for Exq mate!!

They don't make them any more. The closest would be Panini's National Treasures.

I think the problem here is that the guys aren;t 100% sure what sort of thing you are hoping for?

Being general..... The best Rookie classes of recent times would probably be 03-04, 08-09 and maybe 09-10 in my opinion.

08-09 stuff in now becoming pretty rare and expensive, so maybe the 09/10 Stuff would be your best bet. Good chances for a Blake Griffin RC / Auto etc!

Or let us know more specifically what you are looking to spend and get back!

If you want particular cards, then buying singles is always the best!

If you want the fun of a break.. go with something from 09/10 so you will at least be able to buy at a 'reasonable' price and have a shot at Blake RC's!
