Hey folks
I've managed to put together a few cards that might nearly constitute enough quality to create a mailday on this great site.
Unfortunately some of them are Panini cards so haters might wanna stop reading and go play in the traffic. You won't be missed.
Now because it takes me a while to create a mailday worth looking at, in desperation I have padded this thread with other cards that are similar to the ones I just landed.
Anyway, moving right along...
Was pleased to win this one on Ebay...
Manchester City blue no less!
I also have this golden version...
and the baby poo version..
..or Sepia as it's known. I'm chasing the emerald /`199 and also the regular /899.
Next up is another Ebay snag...
This from 03-04 - I also have this one...
There are truckloads of these parallels and golden /50 versions of the same ones..
Up next is some Finest goodness....
Ahhh I miss Topps cards....
That one completes the two #21 parallels available as I also have this one...
The Xfractor is #'d/9 so out of my domain..
Never had any of these parallels until recently when I landed this one in a trade...
Now onto my evil filthy Panini cards which I love!!!
The miserable people at that nasty company had a good idea - buy a rookie game worn jersey and use that as a theme. I liked it and got myself some rookie game-worn goodness!!
A guy had a KG lot on ebay with this card in it. He split the lot up just for me. Good lad!
Sits nicely alongside last year's version...
and this one too....
Lastly but not leastly
I got meself a booklet!!
I've had the handle ljandkg for my whole collecting life. Had kinda hoped one of these days a card would be made with Larry Johnson and Garnett on the same card. UD did it with a 6 sticker auto /5 a few years back. They were going for $500+ so that wasn't an option...
Luckily Panini did me a favour and created some great booklets with LJ and KG on at least 4 different variations...
I landed this one and it's one of my favourite cards immediately...
Cost me a pretty penny. There's a slam dunk LJ and KG version too and patch /25 versions as well..
Thanks to Panini for recreating KG Twolves cards, and also for shoving some awesome old school LJ Hornets cards out there too...
This booklet has jerseys from some awesome players, none of whom I had jerseys from before...
Anyway - up to 169 now. Hope u enjoyed and keep the faith...
