I was told they did not want to do both which is why Select is now doing them this year.
So basically it is too good now to do something as small at the telegraph any more ...
Sounds like an interesting business .....

f$%king hope so!!!Very interesting news. Only time will tell if it's rumour or not. Will it end the Wangy monopoly too???
It's huge news!
And Select are heading in the right direction now ... but only with the threat of losing the licence and after years of shocking releases.
I'm a bit worried about series two now as well.
And I think we should petition ESP to continue the Dally M and club player of the year cards, after all, the true collectors love them!
There hasn't actually been a proper announcement yet - although seems to be true and is a pretty big deal.
Will Select stop honouring redemptions? Will they even be allowed to honour redemptions for past series if they don't hold a current licence?
Will Series 2 be a rubbish release now?
Not sure how I feel about it because Select seem to be heading in the right direction at the moment.
EXACTLY!!! HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD!! TWO LICENCES = COMPETITION = QUALITYI'm interested. What is a true collector?
I've been at this caper since 1982, and I happen to like Dally M and Club Player cards.
But each to their own.
I'd like to know: why can't there be TWO licences?
i've spoken to Select today & they informed me that they handed back the LICENCE and it was given to ESP, They didn't win it in a price war bid they were the only one's who wanted it. Select said it was to costly to pay the royalties & production costs to expensive. YES there will be a 2nd set & it is due out Mid July.
thats probably why he has flooded ebay with his stuff over the past month or twocould see a big price drop in select high end cards if true a certain someone will be well and truly f**ked
CONFIRMED.
ESP are the exclusive licensee from November 2012 onwards.
Spoke to the client services manager from ESP.
