Anyone up for a random 'pick the winner' comp??

I wanted to do a proper 'pick your team' but there would only be people choosing OKC, Heat, Bulls & Spurs I think???

this is a good Idea! I will be in this one.

What I think is a good Idea for next season is, the same as this but at the start of the season have 16 spots with the teams that made the playoffs this season and then random the teams and do the same as this. :)
 
Just had another thought....

Maybe I could random everyone's names and let them choose their team in the order they are listed??

This way it is not a simple 'get what you are given' and it has a small element of personal opinion???

Over a 6 month season there would probably be a couple of people that go awol and won't cough up at the end though :lol:
 
how about just making it a $5 entry fee, winner takes all? that way even if someone does go AWOL theyve already paid. is that allowed on the site?
and picking a name @ random then letting them decide which team is a better idea i think. like a draft...

the random pick idea
the cards instead of cash idea
the trade thread to keep tabs idea

Yeah, I wasn't sure if it would be allowed to have a cash comp?? Although, there is a buy in Dream Team league in the AFL section??

And yeah, the draft idea is the way to go I think!!

What about if it was a $5 buy in and with the money I buy a nice PC card for the winner?? Just another idea?
