Yeah I would never ask a player for an auto while they where just walking down the street erc but if at a game I feel it's ok. I've heard Mal got ripped off by dynamic years ago so doesn't like them but even if that's true not signing doesn't hurt dynamic it only hurts the fan. I asked as he was walking out towards the exit so maybe he had just signed heaps of stuff, who knows?? Just seemed strange he said the words I don't sign that one. Be interesting to know what his reasons are.
meet big mal once in bairnsdale(country vic).having few quite beers with a workmate over our xmas holidays.who comes strolling down the main street big mal .nearly wet my pants in joy ,as originally from qld .he was bit rude at first but the workmate said cant you shake our hand .and he did .yeeeeeessssss still not washed it hehe.and of all the times had my maroons jersey on
probably back then they got jack .on footy show fatty joking said his sign on fee for manly was a pie and a can of coke .probably close to the mark.nowdays they overpaid tossers half of them. no loyalty shown to the club or game .i,m talking about you sonny bill

Mal had done ok, he get paid a shitload to coach the QLD SOO team he has nothing to complain about, if anyone wants to complain it's the guys from the 60's,70's & 80's (yes Mal played in the 80's) who made this game..
Some players don't want to sign because they think they're entitled to a cut from Footy cards/Tazo's etc, maybe they should take it up with the NRL who sell the rights to Select etc...

Players don't realise there image of them playing belongs to the NRL so the NRL can do what they wish with it. They get paid good money so they shouldn't complain but in saying that if the NRL makes any good money for selling the rights to sell footy cards I guess the players should get a little bonus. Maybe clubs should produce there own cards to sell at games & the players get the profits? That way they would love signing them, the more they sign the more money they make

They do get paid for it. Some of the players were talking about it when they were signing my cards at fan day.

That's cool then. 90% of players are more then happy signing so that's great. If anyone ever asks me for my signature I'd be more then happy too hahaha
and if youve been asked thousands of times? everywhere you go?
