Complete list of sets and inserts

Hi all
Just getting back into my RL cards after many years of them sitting in storage.
So my question is: Is there a website that details all years sets and inserts by years?
Im just trying to ascertain exactly what cards I need (inserts only) from 1994-1995.

Query on you collection strategy:
Say for an insert set, say 94' Supporters Choice 1-10 nonsignature. Do you prefer collecting the cards one at a time, just picking them up where you can, or picking up the entire set all at once given the opportunity? I imagine one by one is more fun!
Same for sets, for the older sets (pre 90') given the chance to buy small lots of cards, do you grab them or just bide your time till a complete set rolls around?
Be interested to hear your views.
