penny sleeves into 9 pocket

wondering who here puts their cards including base into penny sleeves then into the 9 pocket sleeves?

or is this a little over the top?

I've never tried putting penny sleeved cards into 9 pocket sleeves, but if they fit, why not

So did I. But at a trade day I saw ppl just have their cards straight in the pockets, and mainly autos etc...
Just curious as I'll need to buy the penny sleeves buy the 000's

I find that unless you have the right sleeves, they usually dont slide in too well... and subsequently you cant really see the card well... anybody else get this problem?

i dont put my cards into a 9 pocket unless i have a penny sleeve to go with it...

Every single card in my PC is placed in an ultra-pro premium card sleeve and then into the 9 pocket pages. Every card I have for trade also is stored in a premium penny sleeve. I think you start having trouble when you use the standard card sleeve as they are slightly bigger than the premium sleeve.

There is another type of penny sleeve that you can get that would probably work better for this!

It is like a team bag, but it snuggly fits over the single card, and adheres down to give a more permanent sleeve protection.

If you were to use these, it would be a much better fit and it will also protect the top edge which is normally left open!

Working on it!

But in the meantime, here is a pic of a card I have in front of me that is in one. This one wasn't put on very straight, so don't judge it from that.

Will see if I can find them. I know of someone who managed to get a heap of these recently. I will see if he can give me an idea!

i must admit, if I pay more than a couple of dollars for a card i use a penny sleeve then put into the 9 pocket page. Just for peice of mind.

I use what drob50 has posted - sealable penny sleeves - for the inserts sets from 90s that I collect.
Also for inserts and commons of Ewings.
They are thinner than Ultra Pro ones so when inserted into 9 pocket it won't get too bulky.
However, I don't try to put Autos into one of them because I am afraid of Autos sticking onto them.

i do the penny sleeve into a 9 pocket for special cards like signed cards wildcards and prize cards otherwise it dont bother me as i make sure they dont get wrecked
