Hi everyone.
My son is selling some cards he's collected. We havnt a clue where to look or go about this. He has
224 star trek next generation cards
9 basketball cards, long,burton,richmond,elliott,adams,bradley,skiles,davis,dawkins
16 cricket cards taylor, morison,astle,hadlee,crowe x 2, parore, blain, owens, hockley, coney, nicholson, doull, harris, bracewell, congdon,
165 space odbodz cards,
70 oddbodz glo cards,

all cards are in used condition but are in good shape due to being stored in sleves, we would be greatful for any advice.

Hi Pam,

If you are concerned about the value of each cards then the quickest and easiest way is to check "ebay completed listings"

So go to Ebay.com type in the card details like year, manufacturer, player, if it has an autograph or piece of memorabilia.
Then on the left hand side of the ebay page you can tick the box "completed listings"

This will then show what that particular card has sold for on eBay in the last few months.

If that fails you can upload pictures to a thread on this site and all the lovely friendly people on here will help you determine
the value.

Other people on here might also be willing to trade for the cards you have, so if your son wanted to collect a new set of cards or he had a favourite player
then maybe you could do a trade deal.

People also buy on this site as well.

Your best bet would be to do a search (completed listings on ebay)
Give you an idea on what cards are selling for
 
WOW Thank you for that. We did do the ebay thing but i didnt know about the completed listings. We shall do that. Thank you again for that. My son has xmen and star wars cards that he's keeping. So he would like to add to them, or DC cards. He loves comic book heros. Love it when Im set a task i know very little about lol.

Yes they are, just had an email re buying them all and asking for photos, unsure if we will be able to do photos due to slow dial up :( however I will try my best. I could post the number of the cards if this is of any help???
 
We are unsure of a price as my son doesnt know what they are worth, hence why doing lots of seaches to find out.
 
Thanks for that Taffster, its a 1995 Futear collector card it also has world series emblem on it, Re oddbodz cards I tried to upload photos but had no luck. sorry :(
 
No problems on that, Pam. Unfortunately when futera took over the license they couldn't print any of the international teams which scanlen used to do. Thus the futera cards didn't have the value of the scanlens. The tubby should go for about $2 though. just a ballpark guess however...
 
Wow you know your stuff taffster. This is all out of league, thanks, I'll pass this onto my son. It's new to the both of us and everyone here has been great, so THANKS to you all :)
