Have to disagree, I think any of the big 3 can make a big difference to a team on the fringe of the playoffs. Take the blazers for example, add KG to the mix and that takes a lot of pressure off Lamarcus and help them make the playoffs. The question should be what would they give up for a player like KG.

I have to agree with the first one, the only real value they have is Rondo. I think he has a few years on his contract, so I'd keep him.
Pierce and KG aren't solids trades any more, their new home would only be looking at 2 years value from these two.
So either way Rondo has a few years in front of him in the wilderness. On a sub 50% team.
I see his game dropping off due to the lack of good backup, certainly in Boston is anything but, green, enviable.
They will finish eighth in the East and play the Bulls or the Heat, I'll give Boston 1 win.
Next year will be worse.
The once powerful green machine is now a rotting carcase and there's not a vulcher site.

I agree, they'd be lucky to get 1 of those guys. I think Wallace is always good but they do have Green coming back.
I still see them getting something for Ray Ray, they really don't use him enough. Dallas or Spurs would love him. Please Spurs, ditch Jefferson for Ray.
To answer your question, yes I think Boston will make a trade. I think Ray and K.G are both off contract this year? They're not gonna get past Miami or Bulls if they finish 7th or 8th (remember Boston have been struggling in the 2nd half of the year and this year might be worse).
Gonna be interesting to see what happens.

I don't think it would be right to trade Pierce, he should remain a Celtic for life IMO; unless he wants a shot at another championship. Gonna have to trade Ray Ray and KG to a contender or something, no other teams would really have any interest IMO.
Clips aren't really contenders but they currently have a whole at the 2 spot where Ray Ray would fit in nicely.

Ray ray at the clips would be really good but who do they give up for him? Pierce deserves to be a Celtic for life and I thin you'll find that's how it will be!! KG, could go to a contender but who....? Blazers would be the logical one! Trade rondo and they have to gut the whole roster and go again
As a huge Boston fan, all I can wish for is that they clone a Larry Bird 2.0 (minus the bad back & ankles), bring back reggie lewis and len bias from the dead and go from there!!! In all seriousness I think Ainge will wait out the season and look at additions with the huge amount of cap room after this season... only problem I dont think there will be major bait available for the cash...
