NBA.tv / LeageuPass has just updated their site and also introduced a new plan where I believe you instead of getting every game, you get a few games a week but for only $5.99 USD/month.

Not sure if it includes the all-star stuff or not, but just thought I'd tell you guys if you were interested but didn't wanna pay $44/month for the normal LP.

In other news..... the person I'm currently sharing LP with can't share with me any longer and I'm looking for someone else to share with - if that's you hit me up by PM ;)

Which games are we allowed to watch?

I have no idea.... though from the sounds of it it'll be something similar to having Foxtel ESPN. You get a few games a week of their choosing.

As for All-Star, found out that only LP and TP users get it, not this cheaper option.

Sweet.... just noticed that LP subscribers get access to this free haha....... so can watch shows like Real NBA, Hardwood Classics, NBA Game Time, Inside the NBA and lots of other little tidbits as well. :D

You have pay attention to that because it defaults to "best available", which you'd think would be 3000kbps.
For me when I use 'best available' it looks crap. Then I switch it to 3000kbps and it is perfect. Full HD it seems (I watch on a 32" and a 40").

Streams perfectly as well, though my connection is about 10mbps down, so it is more than capable of running it.

Everyone watch the all star game?

I've always thought "Best Available" was the best your connection could handle ;) But I don't trust it, so don't use it ;)

Sure did watch the ASG! :D

Can't see a tab in the iPhone app or iPad is this only by signing in through the web browser way? I'll have to have a look tomorrow

What bitrate you watching at? 3000kbps? If so, you find it good quality? Some dude was complaining that he had a 24" monitor and said 3000Kbps wasn't very good on that lol and I found that hard to believe.

Yeah 3000 man, its HD! cant complain.. i never complained about VHS quality so im good!

Its starting to get a bit stuttery though atm.. i think its my laptop.. had no prob up till about allstar weekend.
