With Greg Oden done for another season, due to another knee operation, have we seen the last of him? 82 games for the former #1 draft pick, imho I don't think he'll add to that total. So they lose Oden, lost Roy to injury, and Felton looks like his mind isn't ont he game.

If you were Nate, what would you do? Batum, LA and Crawford seem to be their only shining lights.

Camby has been solid and Matthews has the ability to perform!!

I think they are only 1 or 2 players short of some big results!

Look at their recent results, Camby has been OK at best, very inconsistent, Wallace and Matthews the same. After a 7-2 promising start, they have been nothing but disappointing for their fans. They definitely need someone to help LA out, a star pg maybe?

That's what I meant... they are 1-2 'star' or 'top level' players away from being a contender. Matthews and Camby have the ability to be great, but need some sort of directing/leadership, most likely from a top notch PG.

I think someone like Brandon Jennings would fit in. He has had his own form slump a bit at Milwaukee, and everyone who saw the 55 pt game knows what he is capable of! Maybe he could help drive them??

Wasn't Jennings having a look around recently?

I'd ship Wallace and his massive contract for sure. Then build up with youth, maybe grab Beasley, Barea and Randolph from the Wolves and ship Gerald Wallace + others to them?

Who's Portland's other centre?

Jennings would be a great fit with Crawford actually, I'd be also looking at Mayo and/or Tyreke...

Also heard an interview with Crawford, they asked him about Roy playing again, he said he saw him playing in the gym, you wouldn't know he had 2 bad knees, but there's no chance.

Ah they also have Kurt Thomas. Well I know OKC won't give up Cole Aldrich for sure, but try for another young centre for Camby and Oden? Blazers should be aiming for youth/health and Jennings seems like a good target too!

I think they should also look at BJ Mullens from the cats, they all of a sudden stopped using him after a breakout start from him.

Oden is finished which is sad but true. Felton is the main problem. The wings in Matthews and Batum need a PG. LA is quality.

I keep Wallace, Matthews, Batum, LA, and try and ship Felton and Crawford, for a distributer and a centre.

I'd add either Camby or Thomas to that mix. You don't need 2 old backup centres on your team.

This is true, I just didnt include them because I dont know how tradeable they are.

They could probably send Thomas straight to Florida to find a condo and live out his remaining years! What is he like 55 nowadays?

I think the Blazers know all of this too, and would be surprised if they weren't already out 'shopping' for a PG! They probably picked up Felton just to get him through the season!

There are a few underperforming PG's out there that have shown good potential in the past, but need a better environment.

Jameer is too old as well IMO, need some fresh meat that can be easily adjusted to the Blazers thinking!

Jennings would be my first choice, but I would put Eric Bledsoe in as a close second! I think Bledsoe at the Blazers could really help both parties. Bledsoe isn't going to get much court time with CP3 and Billups around (once billups returns) and he has a great hustle like the Blazers do!

I might add I am not defending Matthews' shocking form. He has been terrible so far this year, so I could see him being traded, but Crawford seems really unhappy, and if definitely tradeable.

This team had great chemistry last season. Its interesting that it is the 2 free agent signings that appear to be the problem.

Not sure, both teams would benefit from faces though, Crawford would be an awesome 6th man there and maybe Felton might work well with The Boggie man?

In saying all of this... and particularly about Crawford, he already has 15 pts, 4 rebound and 5 assists... in the first quarter against the Spurs. 4-4 from long range and 3-3 FT's!!
