Can anyone help me out on ebay/paypal fees on a big sale?

Just wondering what the ebay & paypal fee's on a $4000 sale would be if anyone knows.

I think it is:

$3.50 insertion fee (to list it)
$49.95 selling fee (based on 7.9% of sell price but is capped at $49.95)

Others might know more than me though???

My guess is that paypal will want a couple of hundred. Pretty sure a sale of $1850 ended up costing me over $100 in paypal fees alone

i know i forked out $5000 and it cost me about $450

Yeah i remember it costing me around $200 when i sold the MJ PMG green.
No i've still got the 1/1, it is a $4k offer on my Shoetime auto on ebay atm. Still deciding if i should sell it. I guess i have the next 2 days to mull it over.

maybe try a mock payment as a purchase through paypal ! It should come up with the fee for you and it's handy to check what the true exchange rate is before purchasing.

Good, $4k is a big price for that card!

I usually work it out as 4.6% in paypal fees. Obviously ebay fees bump that up.
