shawn kemp auto, is it the real thing?

hi guys, i have come across this shawn kemp auto from 94-95 UD collectors choice.

i've never seen a shawn kemp auto ever & was wondering if it was legit? any thoughts?

I remember seeing one of these when I was looking for a Kemp auto. Can't remember if it was fake or not but I doubt a fake would be /1000.

The way the sticker is over half of the printing concerns me. the card is not actually stamped to 1000 only signed on

yeah the BAC Sticker over the Upper Deck writing doesn't look right but have seen some pretty dodgy QC on some cards never the less lol

The actual auto looks preety good IMO. So if it is a fake they have done a good job.

The info in my Beckett annual suggests that there were oversized cards (5" x 7") inserted exclusively into series 2 hobby boxes.....the cards are identical in design and numbering to their regular issue cards.....information provided by UD indicates that at least 3000 of these cards were autographed. The number of cards signed per player is not specified, however there are far fewer Jordan autos than the other 4 players in the set.
The set features - Jordan, Cheney, Hurley, Bradley and Kemp.

Is the card in the pic above a "Blow-up"?

I think the card is from the 95/96 set not 94/95.....doing some more research!!

Edit - I can't find any reference to an auto being included in the 95/96 set.....but it's definitely 95/96 Kemp is listed as card #40. (In the 94/95 set he is #140)

Only the blow-up cards have an auto version. There is such a card produced in the past before. I am almost 90% certain that card is legit

I would say legit....either a buyback or UDA card?

I can confirm it's legit as I have one! I also have another one from the normal UD series 2 years later. The sticker is a BAC26479 on my coll choice . Not a bad card in hand especially for a /1000 card - mine is #533/1000 my sticker is in a better location though as in, at the bottom where the UD guff is... and yes they are UDA and they are normal size not Blow Up.
