I assumed he'd take the Wolves again, obviously not.

Andrew and I have BBall at 7:30...i've got to try get a game in against him some time tonight too..thinks it's due by 4:30pm tomorrow.
 
Hmmm well mine and Andrew's game is due in 18 hours I think...so about 10:30am...which means it'd have to be done either before your bball (unlikely cause I'll likely be gone in an hour) or late tonight...or it'll be simmed :(

lol the poor bugger couldnt of picked a worse team if he tried lol, just played him and he was pretty lucky the game dropped out (his end something to do with the phone) it cut out just before half time with the score 58 to 9 lol

I've already played Pacers...so I guess that doesn't count to my playing Users total... But yeah..they had no C...none. They had small rookie SFs checking in at C lol.

So I guess we know who was sending all the trades to arbitration back in season 1...Wom is back in the league for a day and all of a sudden my trade is sent to arbitration...my perfectly fair trade...only 5 hours before it would be processed. It's ****ing bull****. We have to wait 8 calendar days as it is for trades to go through and now we have someone back who sends all trades to arbitration making us have to wait what, an whole extra 24 hours and 8 calendar days? **** I am so annoyed. This type of **** could be crucial to trades happening around the deadline when they might only just scrape in ahead of the 8 calendar days til the deadline and such.
 
what ! i saw that trade and there wasnt anything wrong with that , thats pretty sh&$ if he actually knew what he is doing but i seriously think he has no idea about these leagues and most likely thought whats a arbitration, and pushed it but still WTF , its pretty dam obvious what it does so thats pretty dam rude , feel for you Nen .
played the pistons and they were going of the nuts , felt like i was the bucks of today in real life against the 96-97 bulls team lol, so in the process of my own trades , sending williams SF Chandler C for ben gordon SG and Andrew Bogut C and gonna try and get caron butler through free agency to cover the bench with a small forward , see how we go , probably go to arbitration LOL
 
whats with all the players blocking trades lol thought i was on a winning with a trade with the nuggets , i receive bogut and ben gordon for chandler and williams but chandler blocked the trade , also noticed okafor did the same thing with the wizards ,
 
Hey guys my DSL has been getting progressively worse since christmas - especially during the evening.
I got Step, Digs and Diddy as my next up games (well Step, our game is in 4 or 5 sim days, so I guess that's out)
So fore warning! Will try to get it sorted tomorrow
 
all good mate , i didnt even know our game was due , hopefully you get it sorted for yourself mate , hope everyone had a big drinking session on aussie day , i know i did and must be getting old cause i have one hell of a hangover lol
 
Finally got a game to work after my last 8 attempts cut out. Lost to the Heat. Was up 15 and suddenly I couldn't put body contact on players on D, they knocked down every last second shot they took and my guys missed 3 open dunks! Was the most frustrated I have been in ages playing 2kas it seemed, like we ave said in the past, like the result was already determined. I couldn't hit open shots with A+ releases, I couldn't lay it up, couldn't dunk it and most of all I couldn't stop then from hitting everything. Was all square with 1min to play, but their PG with a 61 rating for 3 and had air-balled 3 of them in the game knocked down a tough contested 3 as the shot clock expired and I had 2 wide open attempts to tie the game, 1 with Lawson, 1 with Andrew and both weren't even close...despite A+ looks...Lawson 2/7 from downtown, 1/8 Andrew...Can't win them all, but man was that a load of trash.

On the plus side, good to have at least finally got a game to complete! lol

And one against me. Closer than I thought, but I also had one that was closer against EmVee earlier.

I think i've worked out my offence, well against teams who don't sit in the lanes (Ben :rolleyes: )

On the downside, I think my connection is still giving me trouble. 2 games against EmVee cut out in the second - 3rd time got it done though.

Haha some might call it sitting in the lanes, others, like me, would call it learning the couple of plays being used and recognising that it was in my best interests to press steal just as you press pass :lol:

As for your connection, I'm not convinced it's us mate. I've been having issues also and it sounds like we've been having the same issue. I actually tried playing my Lakers game last night 5 times...each time it failed in the 1st or 2nd. Then in a different league it failed again. And then again earlier in our league with a different game! But now it seems it's sorted itself out. Probably just 2k fiddling around with things in preparation for their big update due next week and in the US at this time it's the perfect time.

I've been having issues with dropouts and slow speeds since Christmas, and when the game dropped out yesterday with Michael and today twice with EmVee, I could not load anything on my laptop.

So how many plays was I using Ben? :cautious:

Not sure how many, probably a good 4 or more. But I could immediately tell 2 of them. Bron gets the screen from meyer (or the C), stands out at the 45 3 pt range waiting for Mayo to pop out from the post = George steal as Bron tries to give it to Mayo :D haha And the other where Bron gives to you C at the high post then runs off round the side and Ilyasova pops out the other side. Just tried to disrupt those plays since I realised them by moving into the passing lanes and daring you to break the play :lol:

the same thing just happened against the mavericks , they were holding the ball until the last 3 seconds and a meter back outside and manu would just swiss it everytime , bloody hell thats frustrating , but what got me was i was up 3 points with 2.8 seconds on the clock in the 4th , mavericks have no time out , i put a full court press on and they inbound the ball to manu and he puts up a 30metre bomb in durants face with good d and he swiss's it to go into overtime where i couldnt do anything , gonna have to get the putty out and dig my controller from out of the wall , grrrr

Haha annoying isn't it! Like I've always said, I don't mind losing, it's part of the game, but when it just has that entire feel like it doesn't matter what you do, it aggravates the shit out of you! haha

BTW, We should probably try and get our game done tonight :) I reckon I can get a good run on the PS3 around My Kitchen Rules at 7:30 (melb time) :lol:
