Slightly off topic, but ive noticed 8088edge has an incredible amount of cards on eBay, is he/she close to Select or just a hardcore seller?

Very close to Select - used to have a card shop back in the Dynamic days. Been told Select keep numbers 8 and 88 for him in redemption cards.

Probably just keep 8 and 88 out of circulation. I wonder if that is Tps and other numbered inserts aswell.

Hmmm - he has a bit of a thing for the benchwarmers. He used to be 8888edge to buy all his stuff but he closed that account a while ago now.
