PS3 NBA2K13 Online Association

Welll if it's not hard enough to shed salary because of the rooted contracts anyway, it seems 2k has now taken to accepting trades then resigning their players to long term deals at the same time. Stepp was getting expiring Duncan and expiring Williams, but now Williams has signed a 5 year, 45mil extension! OUCH! And Okafor was in my trade with an expiring 14mil contract...but now he's signed on again. Luckily he only signed for 9.47mil over 5 years, so it doesn't effect me too badly. Probably a good thing since I'll be ditching everyone else on my roster :lol:
 
Yep, most of my team are goners lol I'm blowing up the roster so I can sign Cousins again. Yi oddly enough just re-committed to 1 year vet min 487k :lol: Oh, with a player option for a 2nd year too of course lol Nice and cheap. Okafor will come in and play off only 1.47mil next year so he's going to be my reserve C from now on. I'll hopefully retain Cousins, George, Green and Fordham is under contract (a cheap contract), but everyone else might be off to empty my salary out. Bayless might stick round since he's medium cheap. I'd love to keep Augustin, but with all the talent I'm trading, I'm likely to bring in a different PG with a long term reasonable contract. Bottom line, Cousisn is going to be staying :lol:
 
Wow, look what happens when I don't sign in for a couple of days - needed 2 guys to fill my roster, and my VP (CPU) signs Marquis Daniels for 1 year for 3.23 mil and a point guard called Lester Hudson (Who?) who is rated 59 :blink: to a 4 year 20 mil contract :cry:

All I can say is idiot CPU. Saying that, we are 1-1 :lol:


Hopefully the 2k12 Jason Maxiell stands up this season like his real counterpart.

You got any contract abnormalities Johnny? The rest of us have guys that previously had long term deals now all contract-less and we're losing them at season end...

So last game the Gay era of the Wizards ended, and today the Boy George...I mean Paul George era started. The Wizards are in major transition right now, but you wouldn't know it on the court. Gay out, George in. And due to the current accepted trade, I dropped Nick Young, Marcus Thornton and Robin Lopez to the inactive list to prevent injury and ensure the trade went through. This meant Fordham was promoted to the starting line-up and I ran with no reserve SG. Fordham finished with 15/5/2 and a steal in his 1st big minutes game. Augustin had 14 and 7 assists. Cousins 16/8/1/1 and George 15/1/1/1. Bayless 12/2/3 off the bench.

The latest trade in the "cull salary" effort by the Wiz sees Thornton, Nick Young and Lopez all heading to Detroit for Ty Lawson and an expiring contract of Rautins. This trade likely spells the end of DJ Augustin in Washington...Lawson will assume the starters reigns and with Cousins, George and Green to sign at the season end, there likely won't be any money or need to sign DJ again...a sad day considering how far he has come.
 
yeah im gonna crank out my games today , i have a few human teams to play , digeze,emveespree and i think jaames is in that mix to , already had one sim loss so dont wanna miss any more lol better get into it ,

the bucks are in a rebuilding phrase to , had to cut a few players now but the only main player ive lost is millsap which is a pity with all the progress he has done

Sucks losing the projects ey...cause of a stupid contract glitch...Augustin going to have to go. Lopez even jumped from 67 to 73 in 1 year...At least the plan has worked, Cousins won't be able to leave now no matter what.

Watch out for the new Wiz boys! If it's not bad enough that Lawson is now running the team, and he's the 1 finishing fast break ally-oops above the rim, DJ Augustin off the bench? Yikes! Lawson in his 1st game had 15/6/4. Struggled a little with his shot but I'll learn it :D Augustin was POG off the bench with 14/2/7/1. Was a nice balanced team effort otherwise. Fordham in his 2nd start had 6 points, 4 boards, 4 assists and 4 steals, and Cousins was quiet offensively with 4 points, but 4 boards and 4 steals. Currently my team has 4 PGs though...and the rotations decided to run 3 of them on the court at once for a while :lol: Beat the Celtics by 32. Stay tuned for the next salary cutting trade ;)
 
Yeah the contract glitch sucks @ss ahwell all good...loving the new team dynamic at Orlando
backcourt / frontcourt rotation is sweet, Let's hope I can keep it together (Curry and Granger off contract may sting)

1st game with Horford at C resulted in a 20pt victory vs Utah

CPU has pretty much picked my top 7 and is rotating them frequently throughout game

Curry / Beasley / Brooks share 1 and 2
Granger / Beasley share 3
Horford / JJ Hickson / Ibaka share 4 and 5

Rest get garbage time

My No#11 pick could be pretty good Tyrone Gatson (75) SF
 
So guys I'll be leaving for holidays tomorrow morning. I'll be taking the game with me but not sure how much time if any I will get to play.
 
yeah i think we have a game available jaames , yeah i wont be around christmas day as i expect most of us wont , have a game against emveespree but he hasnt been on for 6 days so dont think thats happening already have 3 simmed games
 
Yeah I think I'm likely up to 5? simmed games now...

The rebuild continues in Washington. Arthur's salary and Thad Young moving on out for Wes Johnson and a small expiring contract. Hopefully keep Wes, but if not, he'll be good for the remainder of the season and his salary leaves my books. Think I'll keep Dudley...and Bayless...gotta keep some of my talent :D
 
well the bucks are about where i thought they would be this year , is a rebuilding stage with 3 new rookies this year and 1 from last year my team is now
PG weber/ york, york looks like a good young pg , so pretty young and inexpericenced down back
SG jackson/salmons/neal
SF durant/ mbah moute
PF dame/duncan duncan purely to teach dame and moore , dame looks the goods also but will take at least 2yrs to show the goods ,
C moore/chandler Moore is a beauty , small c with big attiude and a great shot , loves the boards to , might have another rookie of the year on my hands :D

currently 8-7 with a few sim games which is to be expected over the christmas/new years break , havent had a sim win yet which i think is a young and inexpericenced team 0-5 in losses lol , might see if air diddy wants a game later

oh and signed durant for 6yrs for 126mill , gave him 6mill extra so he can have a good holiday over christmas LOL
 
well my training points are gonna be **** this year lol , didnt get to play one human team this year , hoping i can at least play nenjabin to remember what its like to play a human player, been a up and down year for the bucks and are currently holding on to 8th spot in the east which is to be expected with such a young team, pretty much have to win my game against nenjabin to secure a playoff spot , lol wish me luck
 
He guy's how is everyone? I just got back to Australia last night, didn't get a chance to get on the PS3 while I was away. Am I still in the league?
 
hey mate did you have a good trip ? , yeah you should be in mate this season has been pretty much a simmed season for everyone i think , i had 18 myself so only got 11 games in lol , currently in playoffs mate

nah your out mate lol straight sets , same with michael , i finished 8th but got shafted by the celtics who had 2 more losses than me lol so i didnt even end up making it , pretty sure its emveespree and air diddy , emveespree hasnt been on for a week but has managed to get to the eastern final lol
 
Oh so playoffs been going a while? Eastern conference finals now? ****...I might be away by the time it's draft time...and all my re-signing and such plans will go to ruin!
