You're damn right it doesn't - I'm curious as to why it matters.... I'm only reporting on what the FA said and what other Liverpool fans think about Suarez, which seems to be that he's the poor victim of a 'cultural misunderstanding', a claim that the FA, and racial experts involved in the inquiry, have denied vehemently.

/\/\ suarez himself wouldve realised after the first time he said it that evra didnt think of it as a term of endearement. and i think he knew all to well what he was doing. its not like hes just got off the plane from uruguay...
its the experts that tip it over the edge. the fact that this situation would be considered racial even in uruguay should be enough to shut up scousers.

Happy new year everyone - a very bloody happy one. I woke up to see whether Utd had put 4 or 5 or more past Blackburn - amazing - then Villa thump Chlsea away! AND STEPHEN IRELAND SCORES! Well done mate!!!

Just watching the Blackburn game - United might get away with playing Valencia at right back vs the likes of Wigan, but not against strong teams like Blackburn, no wait.......what?

Valencia wasn't playing at right-back.

So where did Rafael play then? Pretty sure he wouldn't of being playing wing for the whole night!

If u check my link Warney you'll see exactly where everyone started and Valencia started at RB as I said....

Did u actually see the game before correcting me??

thats pretty much where he finished aswell.
just read that united have never lost a game over the x-mas break (26/12 - 03/01) since the epl started.

the FA released its report on the suarez/evra situation.
heres the main bit that sunk suarez:

"Our findings of fact which are directly relevant to the Charge are as follows: (1) In response to Mr Evra's question 'F*****g hell, why did you kick me,' Mr Suarez said 'Because you are black'.

"(2) In response to Mr Evra's comment 'Say it to me again, I'm going to punch you,' Mr Suarez said 'I don't speak to blacks'.

"(3) In response to Mr Evra's comment: 'Okay, now I think I'm going to punch you,' Mr Suarez said 'Okay, blackie, blackie, blackie'."

incredible. i retract my previous POV. 8 games wasnt too many. probably not enough.

sorry rishgoon. happy new year aswell. didnt mean to ignore your cheerful greeting.
united deserved to go down in that game. fergie thinks he can put any suckers in his line-up and win.

your right mate. At that time of night, after the game only comment I could make was to wish myself happy new year. Was pretty chuffed.:kick:

not sure i want to get into that. he'll be back tho. next time they beat someone 4-0...

I watched all of it but obviously didn't pay enough attention. i apologise.
No use being a smart a*** either mate :)

Yeah you're right, you shouldn't have been - you're better off having a look before u come on here spouting off about how wrong we are....

Terrible loss for City - an offside goal in the last 10 seconds of a game we dominated without scoring. Although to be honest, we were below par.....

i like how mancini didnt blame the refs or the off-side goal for the defeat. just pointed out how they missed their chances and were pushing too hard to defend the counter attack. refreshing, after the years of fergie, wenger, mourinho etc, trying to blame anything but their play for a loss...

podolski to arsenal maybe? now that would be a great buy. especially at the 10mill its being reported at.

That loss may come back to bite City...........well i hope so anyway.

what a crazy weekend of results.

Haha - insane indeed - great week for spurs..... City need to get back on the horse vs Liverpool.....

sgt pepper - he may not have known....generally he doesn't moan about refs though....

/\/\ pretty sure he wouldve seen a replay by that time.
rooney & co (gibson, evans) were indeed dropped for the blackburn game it seems, and not rested due to 'niggling injuries'. punishment for going out and having a dinner with family and friends on boxing day. no antics, just a breach of club rules. he was fined a weeks wages (approx. 200,000 pounds).
fergies story always reeked a little...

macheda to QPR on loan. confirmed.
de rossi to city? like they need another player.
higuan to chelsea? would love to see him in the epl.
samba to spurs. poor business from blackburn if it goes through.
and gary ablett (the scouser, not the AFL player) has died. RIP.
fergie backtracking like a mofo on his rooney lie. hes 'keen to move on' from the incident. probably so he wont have to answer as to why he told porkies. did he really think he could cover up what actually happened? is he going senile or what?! i hope so...
oh, and balotelli in the news again: http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/football/886148-mario-balotelli-banned-from-returning-to-his-home
