It does not really matter if its fair or not. if your alive in every cup comp your going to have a congested schedule. I can think of quite a few times thay man u have played 4 times in 10 days. Im sure the same thing has happened to the gunners and chelsea. it just goes with success. Mancini has a deep squad for a reason.

do you ever actually read the words i write? its not about the congested schedule. all 20 teams are playing 4 times in 10 days. thats the league at x-mas. happens every year. but united are getting more time in between those matches than their no.1 rivals.
city have more fixtures to play than united this season now, and somehow theyve still ended up with less time?
and as i said earlier, the same thing has NOT happened to the gunners and chelsea when theyve been challenging for the title. check previous years fixture lists. united are consistantly getting more days in between matches at this time of year.
not saying its on purpose or theres some conspiracy or its the reason they win titles, but it is an advantage. if you cant see that then your bias is far more than my hatred...

Last time i checked Man U didnt set the schedule. Mancini is just playing mind games. The thought that its a conspiracy is nonsense. it would be great to read one of your posts where you dont blame Man u for everything that is wrong in the world.

/\/\ not once did i put any blame on united for this?! its not their fault/doing that its happening. but it is happening. for whatever reason. just dumb luck probably. but its still not the right way to set fixtures, which was my only point. again, if it was city with the extra rest time, id make the same arguements.
might be some mind games involved. doesnt mean hes wrong tho.
i dont blame united for anything even football related, let alone world events. theyre a great team. i just dont like them.
itd be great to read a post of yours that actually shows youre reading what youre replying to...

suarez 1 match for his finger to fulham...
kenny trying to tell us carroll shouldnt be criticised. i dunno. seems like he hasnt done much to make up for his price tag. how long does he want to 'prove himself'? cant even get a solid run in the starting line up.

He doesn't suit Liverpool's game style so it's hard for him to adjust to it. We should sell him off and get another proper ST.

/\/\ either way, they shouldve never spent that amount on him. if they do sell him, theyre in for a shock as to what other teams think his real value is. talk about over-hyped/rated/priced.

Would have to be top 5 worst ever buys in the EPL. IMO at the time the new owners had just taken over and they were trying to get the fans onside by making a big transfer splash. Shows you what happens when baseball club owners think they can run football clubs.

what the hell is capello on about?! 'stealing' players? hes completely contradicting himself. podolski lived in germany since he was 2, same with klose and his dad is german. ozil was born and raised in germany. and does he realise klose and podolski are polish not turkish. what a fool. of the players that could have played for another country only 1 was born outside germany.
and he thinks because he calls welbecks dad and asks him if he can pick him that makes his selection alright? its the exact same thing?!?
fair enough, maybe there should be a rule prohibiting or limiting the sale of youth (15 years +) players to other countries, but wouldnt that just be punishing the players? i mean in the end, its still up to them which country they want to represent. it would be ridiculous for ozil to decide to play for turkey after hes lived his whole life in germany...
owen hargreaves chose england, even tho he was born in canada and raised in germany. thats a better example of a country 'stealing' a player, but like i said, its not stealing. its the players choice.
i think hes just realising how bad english players really are, compared on a world scale...

True and reading the article he has contradicted himself on Welbeck - but have a look at some of the middle east teams that are half Brazilian. The rules are not great.

wenger confirms henry will re-join arsenal on loan. just waiting on paperwork. and for the transfer window to open again i guess. really hope this doesnt back-fire...

Won't backfire. We lose Chamakh and Gervinho soon so will be handy cover. Some are worried about him tarnishing his legacy, but I don't see how.

Cahill hasn't had the best season, and is an average signing for Chelsea. Bad business by Bolton as well, knocked back an offer of £8m from Arsenal in the off season, only to accept considerably less money now as his value has dropped.

im not so sure. the MLS is hardly european football and at 34, hes not gonna be the player he was...probably. back-fire might have been the wrong word tho. maybe ineffective is a better one. personally, i hope to see him come up with some more magic. whatever happens, he'll always be a legend and i dont think he could ever tarnish his legacy. thats as solid as the statue in his honor.

I guess he cant do to much right or wrong in 2 months.

Yeah thats why i think its not a bad buy. Tough to get a quality defender for that sort of money. Your spot on - bad bit of business on Bolton's part.

Carroll wouldn't be able to score even if he was Van Persie.

Gerrard makes a world of difference for Liverpool. He's the difference between them challenging for the top 4.

If Liverpool could find some consistency they would be very dangerous.

Great game to watch this morning. Anyone catch it?

even with him, they dont have what it takes. i really thought they would do better this season, with the buys they made, but theyre the same old liverpool...

beaten by the bottom of the table. wow. crazy line-up but. carrick and valencia at the back again, rafael in the middle, no rooney at all and a bench thats barely played a game between them all season. de gea to blame for the 3rd aswell.
