After the last few weeks looking at the various threads on the website, I have taken the next step and joined what seems to be a very friendly and well managed website. I see a few members are people that I have dealt with on eBay over the years.
I have been collecting since I was a small boy (NRL), and then everything during the boom days of 1994, so I have a couple of hundred thousand cards from basketball, baseball, american football, ice hockey, golf, AFL and NRL lying around the house. Getting married 5 weeks ago for the first time has meant that I need to reduce the amount of cards that I have hoarded over the years.
Now just collecting baseball cards (I am much more in tune with slightly overweight middle aged white guys) than basketball, but with a newly acquired step son who loves the NBA, I might get to know some of the players again.
I have been very busy over the past couple of days sorting all of my spare baseball cards out, so before they are boxed back up and put on eBay, if anyone has a want list, let me know. There is about 20,000 cards in various sets on the lounge room floor, so get in quick before the wife complains too much.
Will start on the others when the baseball is done.
