Ok.... dunno if I'm just gonna be talking to myself in here, but whatever! :lol: We'll see who jumps on the bandwagon if we get Dwight! :D

Anyway, in other news..

Gilbert Arenas expected to attract some interest from the Nets. D-Will recently asked about him and expressed interest, source says.

Hmmmmm...... dunno if I like that or not. We could use a scoring two guard, but from what I saw of him in Orlando and him being so small, not really interested TBH.
 
I'll jump on..as long as it's not the lakers..I don't care. Mavs, Nets or bulls.

D-Will and Dwight would be a great combo. I wonder how they would get along on a personal level.

dislike. Arenas consistently under-performs. i hope he'll take a significant pay cut.

it's been reported that they are great friends.
 
If Dwight ends up here im jumping on the bandwagon, anyone that will give Heat/Lakers a good thumping im all for it!
 
If Dwight Howard isn’t traded to the Nets by the end of the week, the Nets will move on to their contingency plans and seek alternative means of filling out their roster, a person who has been briefed on the team’s thinking said.

The person asked not to be identified because of the sensitive nature of the team’s negotiations.

“It won’t go past this week,” the person said, adding that while Howard is the No. 1 target, the Nets “have a Plan A, B, C and D.”

I recon Dwight is lookin like a goose at the moment. You would think that after the whole lockout period and his contract running out, you would know what you want.

The new CEO must be making all the right noises.
 
Well got some mixed news..

Apparently we just signed Deshawn Stevenson to a one year deal, so that shores up our hole at the 2-guard spot. Not real big on him on a personal level, but he has a ring and is a great defender so all is good here! :thumbsup:

Next up..... New Jersey Nets' Brook Lopez has broken foot; surgery scheduled - ESPN New York

No we're gonna be without our best big man for an extended period in a shortened season.... great! :) As of last year we were very very thin on backup bigs, so this ain't so good.

Currently this is looking like our lineup without Lopez:

DWill / Farmar
Stevenson / Morrow
Shawne Williams / Damion James
Humphries / ?
Petro / ?

Not all that great!
 
Haha yeah was just reading that on ESPN...... while I'm not a big fan of him, he's a whole lot better than Petro and will shore up the C spot while we wait for Brook to get back. Plus he comes off the books next season so we don't hurt our free agency chances. :thumbsup:
 
Wow...... what an embarrassing loss! :(

We are a VERY think team and by losing one of our best players in Brook it's really hurting us. I also don't understand why we are not starting Stevenson and Shawne Williams!? Stevenson was good enough to start for a championship team but not for us!? :confused:

Perhaps we're tanking now that we lost Lopez? Not such a good idea since Deron hates losing so much.
 
Well that's two games in a row we got down by huge margins....... we had to come back by 21 down to win against the Wiz and against the Hawks we weren't so lucky. TBH our starting lineup is pretty woeful! :(
 
Geez we suck right now. Without Lopez I think we have the worst bunch of C's in the league. Okur is a shell of his former self and Petro isn't even good enough to be a backup lol...... doesn't help that Deron is also playing pretty crappy; though in his defense if his assist numbers struggle you can blame that on his teammates...... was watching a game the other day and he was making some good passes but the clowns kept missing the damned shots.
 
Yer I'll follow the Nets, seeing D-Will plays for em. But man D-Will is playing TERRIBLE right now, I dunno what's up with him. Lopez is a massive lose. You guys need him.
 
MUCH better game by Williams and the team all around. We lost yes, but we were at least competitive against a team that SMASHED us just a few days earlier. Only bright spot for us right now is MarShon Brooks...... that boy has got some game and he or Stevenson should be the ones starting!
