When the real estate first listed the property they would have said it is worth $xxxx, The landlord would have said did you take the solar into acount? well no we didnt thats worth an extra $20.00 p/w.
Dont feel bad about asking for a rent reduction and /or compensation you are paying a higher rent for something that is no longer there.
