I'm predominantly a set collector and I'd never be crazy enough to chase a set (colour) from this stuff, but I love the hits and the USA set looks really cool.

I managed to grab a gold Ginobili and am hoping to score a Parker gold, but Tim Duncan is in the first tier and won't match these other two cards. Ridiculous.

Just looking to create some discussion from you all. Thumbs up/down, what do you like? What did you hit?

We've got some pretty nice product on the way over the next few months with Immac, Preferred, Spectra and Flawless still to come. Wow

I really like it.

But strangely, as a Longley collector, Im concerned that he's in Select after a brief hiatus.

If he ends up in Flawless, preferred and Imac, im gonna have to rob a bank

This is a cool die cut, I'm glad they put them in Bball, Panini had them in football last year.

Next on my list is a big name gold

Some nice designs, but the parallels are just insane. It just seems that when Panini have a popular product, they have to bring it out the following year with more parallels.

I like that finally, panini has released a set where the design is based around the diecut - rather than doing the design first and thinking how they can add a diecut to it later.

example 1 - "How can we add a diecut to this card to make another parallel"



or - this one where it just looks stupid with a stump of an arm left there.



versus

Example 2 - "lets get a shape first and build the design around it"

I love the set from what I've seen, and when I saw that Capela, I had to pull the trigger.

The only thing I've been disappointed in is the non-prime "city to city" cards. Two white patches doesn't really represent the idea well.

Ha ha, no way, I only have a couple of cards in the $200 range these days. I have my eye on a rookie and an up and coming star. Haven't seen their golds yet.

I'm really bummed that Duncan isn't in the 3rd tier and Kawhi isn't even in any of the 3 tiers.

Not a fan of the diecuts, not sure on the tie dye yet but there is definitely some amazing other cards in there! prices a tad high at the moment, especially a lot of the patch autos

The tie dye does nothing for me, but I understand why some love them.

I actually think they should remove all Jersey and patches from this product, just seems a waste to me.
