Just wondering how people now feel about the rookies this year?
Bennett is starting to play well after potentially being the largest flop since Kwame. If he keeps getting time he should turn into a pretty good player, no star but pretty solid.
Oladipo I think is the standout this year, the ROY award will be a race between him and MCW. I have watched quite a few Orlando games this year and I think he could easily play the 1 or 2, he can score pretty well and his passing is pretty advanced for a rookie.
I don't think you can properly judge Porter, Zeller, Len or Noel. Two of them being injured and the other two only getting scrub minutes, with that being said Len is a good high energy guy who has a bit of grit that is needed to bang in the post.
McLemore, Burke, McCollum and MCW have a lot of potential with MCW leading the bunch and impressing everybody from day one. McLemore and Burke have been steady contributors on their teams and have shown flashes of brilliance. I like what McCollum could do for the Blazers he is an excellent shooter and has been showing it of late.
Antetokounmpo is an athletic young kid who is still growing, already standing at 6'10 he could be well over 7 foot when he's done with the team doctors saying he has the growth plates of a 16 year old. I'm a pretty big fan of Plumlee I believe he will become solid for Brooklyn especially when Garnett leaves, I believe Gobert wiill add good depth to Utahs front court and I like his potential.
Lastly I will talk about Hardaway Jr if he keeps playing well you may see NY get rid of JR Smith and allow Shumpert and Hardaway to share the SG minutes.
Hardaway jr has his chance to prove himself right now. JR has a broken cheekbone. He scored 7 points in 37 mins shooting 3 from 12. Not a great start imo.

Doesn't justify the crappy game he played today. Hopefully the young bloke steps up, today showed he still has a lot to learn. I thought he was a pg not sg anyways? My bad if I am wrong...
Think Oladipo will be the best from the class easily in a few years, i am a magic fan so its a bit biased but he is in a much better place to develop in Orlando as they already have veteran scorer and distributer unlike Philly where MCW is. I dont doubt his talent just see him being a Tyreke Evans take 2... Will be interesting to see Noel when healthy as he was fun to watch before he got injured
