Well this is more of an announcement type of thread. ;)

I bet not many saw that one.

Good news for aussie buyers.. but this will mean more competition on cards.. hehe.

I bet not many saw that one.

Yeah thats true, I only saw it because I posted the original thread!

Did ya see my reaction, spent about 3 weeks doing all the stuff to get a VISA debit card, just got here last week and now this!

what does this mean? does it mean that instead of using a credit card for Paypal, it will extract funds directly from our bank accounts optionally instead?

Sounds like it Jimbo....

Sounds like a great addition to PayPal. Certainly will help a lot more new collectors out there, or those who dont have Credit Cards.

I might actually stop using my CC now, might get a chance to pay it off, LMAO!

I can now buy cards without my dad having a heart attack with the credit card bill!!!!

:partyman:

Thats HUGE! Finally I can actually budget for cards and just put money on my paypal account! Or at least try to budget! My girl is going to love them for this!

I too didnt' notice the other thread had updated with this info.

Thanks guys :D

i'll read about it later, but is there a fee then? or are we gonna be able to direct deposit (so to speak) into our paypals...to have paypal funds?

if thats the case, it will be awesome to budget that way!

Nahh its free Trey. But if we have our account set up to draw money down into already why do we need to go thru the process again of proving its ours????

Just tried it now.. what happens is that you set up your bank account on your paypal account, then you click the link "Setup Bank Funding" kinduv thing, and then paypal sends you a deposit of a small amount (which you can keep- i hope its a million bucks).. and then you have to tell paypal how much exactly was deposited in your account, as verification.

This is actually really cool.

Now daddy doesn't need to know how much I spend on cards ;)

 Case for everyone!

I agree with Jase. After going to all the effort to get a CC, then this happens, which means I can use my regular internet payments!!!!

That's $6/month on the new account I could've saved. But I can also see the benefit of having the credit card for other internet purchases.
