Elias Nelson Banks folks!! Eli was born at 4.20pm on Friday and is a wee gem. I'm tearing up just writing this - I'm totally exhausted after the last 2 days but wanted to share my joy with u guys!!!

May well be off the scene for a while - don't know but here he is!!!

He was a whopping 10 lb 4 - My wife Adelle is ...no words can describe - if you've been there u will know

Mate I'm off to visit Dr Edward Scissorhands. First baby was 8 lb 8, 2nd was 9 lb 14 and Eli was induced 10 days early cos they were worried about his size and he was STILL 10 lb 4. My wife said "No Mas!!" She's only 5 ft 5!

As for the next Bogut - he does have big feet! I'm thinking strapping fast bowler though!!

Thanks for the thoughts and jokes - gave me a great laugh. Adelle and Eli are coming home this avo so home life changes then!!

Funny thing about the #21 - we were in Room #20 at the hospital and #21 was empty - was gonna suggest we shift rooms but thought I might get a fist to the jaw!!:smt062 :smt062

Richo - I have no regrets about fatherhood - except maybe not being able to blow more money on cards but that is way secondary....!! My kids are the best. Jack couldn't reach Eli in his cot today so he blew him a kiss while he thought no one was looking - stuff like that is priceless!!
