hey looking on ebay today i came across this auction

i think so... Just a little fact about that team my friends great uncle played in that team Mick Bowleski He played every game on tour and in fact stayed in England and played there as a paid professional. He and his brother where the first brothers to play for qld as well

I saw this is as well and at first glance (bad eyes) thought it was a Centenary case card.

When I looked I then thought it must have been just a holder for a payment on another deal...a private listing.

i have no sympathy for the bidders, if you dont know your cards and you pay overs for a common......thats your problem.

You may be right there...... but everyone was a newbie at some stage and i bet that most out there have paid more for a card than it was worth when first starting out I know i have..... Thats why we r lucky to have such a good site to discuss, buy, trade, sell our cards find out values etc

I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT! The bidder must have absolutely no idea what they are bidding on. Lack of description doesn't help. That card is selling for the price of a whole set from that year.
It's like the telegraph card of Jen Hawkins as a Knights cheerleader I saw a while back. I think it sold for between $25 and $40

I sold one myself recently on ebay and could not believe what people were willing to pay for it sold it with a few other commons and got around $4 but nowhere near $26 wow

Not even close to the $15 a card that someone is willing to pay on Ebay. For me, I'd be out of the race at $50 max. Got other priorities. What do others think?

if you look at the card quality it isn't the best either, especially not for that price, just looking at pics i'd of been out of the race around $20.

I might have to go and get my 3 sets of meningas signed.

out of the race at $20!!! I wish i was bidding against u then mate 9 signed mal cards are definitely worth more than 2.25 each lol.

Good luck getting your 3 sets signed and when u do i will give u $21.00 for a signed set bugger it i would take all 3!!!

Big Mal is one of the greatest players of all time hence his naming in the team of the century and his siggie will always be highly collectible to people..
I am thinking that the $15 a card is probably what these will go for maybe more because it is a set
