As the old saying goes "buyer beware". I was exercising caution on Ebay as this guy has 0 FB but has some cards I was thinking about bidding for. This is the question I asked on the off chance he may be within pick up distance and/or something to increase my confidence with him... "Hey mate,
Just wondering where you are located and if pick up is available? I ask as you are yet to register any feedback which makes me hesitant to bid. Regards Mischa" ...and this was the response I got...
"we all start out sometime im located in this big country off ours and pick up is not avaialable cheers and have a good day"
This response has given me no confidence in this seller and perhaps could be on the dodgey side. What are others thought?
Yea i wouldn't touch this guy with a ten foot pole yet,not until i see him around for the next year or so,it's just not worth it,in saying this he might be all right, there are plenty of buyers out there that will test him for you.
Cheers
Peter
I'm not touching them and I don't think they'll go cheaply either. I reckon if someone is new to Ebay and has that sort of cockiness, he's prob got another account and will be shilling. I'll be watching the bidding history.
I had a big problem a couple of years ago with someone with a username like myroyale or mrroyale. Something along those lines. Bought some cards from him that were sent registered, and never arrived.
Tracking details showed they were never posted.
I had to fight really hard to get my money back from PayPal too, my original claim was rejected, it went on for months. He almost scooted with my money and the cards. About $150 from memory.
If it's the same seller avoid them like the plague. Worst ebay experience I have ever had by a long long way.
