Wolverine24 Suspended from EBay

Recently, there was a thread in here about wolverine shilling his products. Through a few of the blogs i read mainly SCU, enough data was sent to ebay about his transgressions and his apparent selling of FAKE cards they have suspended his account.

Woot for us little guys.
 
Good we dont need people like him feeding off this hobby theres already enough deadbeats around selling fakes. How far can eBay take this can they somehow fine him or just make sure he doesnt sell again on eBay?
 
I have bought lots of cards through this guy, none of the cards I got are fake but he does seem to have an unlimited supply of cards.
 
Bought several cards from him. In general:

(A) All cards real
(B) All cards reasonable in price (my bids)
(C) Communication was absolutely terrible!!!!!
(D) Shipping varying from very quick to very slow!!!!!
(E) ALL cards were exactly as described.

Virtually every card I purchased from him was at the opening bid. Based on my experience, I would continue to buy from the guy; and will, if he does private sales.

One instance that seemed very bad at the time. He used post office tracking. Didn't receive the card for a few weeks, and post office stated the tracking number was a registration only, but the card had never been picked up. Opened a dispute with Ebay. Seller refunded my purchase price. About 8 weeks later, card arrived, and the postmark was the date the seller had stated. The post office had misplaced the card, and didn't update their tracking for still another week!!! I contacted the seller offering to pay since I had received the card; but never heard from him (see communication above) and he did not send a new invoice. So this issue was clearly one with the u.s. p.o. (I live in the USA).

i think the main thing with wolverine is that he sold cards for other people, so consignment stuff. naturally you'll get the occasional owner of the card (not wolverine) bid on his card so he can get more for it. so i think that was a big thing with the bloke.

another thing too is that i bought a couple of highend MJ inserts off him on like the 12Dec and paid on the same day yeh. then about 5 days ago i still hadnt got anything and i thought "man its been nearly 30days now". so instead of opening a paypal dispute, i messaged the bloke and he returned the reply the following day and told me that he has changed using post offices cos the original post office that was sending his stuff used to hold onto his packges for a bit and then send them. so since he found out why there was a delay, he said he now has changed post offices, and said that he did post my cards following the 12th Dec when i made payment.

it wasnt till yesty i was leaving feedback for some ebay members when i saw his status was "no longer registered". so paypal disputed it straight away, now waiting to see the outcome. i havent upgraded the dispute though, so i think it gives him like 20 days or something to get his stuff organised. i just really wanted them 2 MJ cards as i have been wanting them for ages now. OD'ing.
 
I had issues with one card he was selling, mostly because of an idiot other guy though. Both were selling the same Tag Team Quad (Rose/Mayo/Beasley/Westrbook if I'm correct) - one on buy now and Wolverine on auction format. Seems (according to the other guy) that he won it off Wolverine who never sent it to him but sent him other things of equal value, so he was trying to get his money back by selling it..? That makes no sense and that's why I was wary...
Turns out Wolverine was selling two of the card, one safe one and that one. 1st one went to $108 (I was outbid) and I didn't really want the tainted one which went for $105. Still need that darn card....
 
ive never had any problems with him, shipped fast, cards were legit and he resonded to all my queries....i thought he was a top seller. wonder why he differed for other people...maybe its cos im a freaking champion
 
Ive bought heaps off of him!! I knew he was selling cards on consignment but didnt care. Never, ever, ever saw him selling fakes like some people are claiming! He's postage has gotten solwer and slower though, I must admit that. Im awaiting a package from him as we speak, late december won it and paid for it, I'll give him until the end of the month before a dispute is opened!!

Sad to hear such a big seller going down the drain!

Never had a problem myself. Like others have said, he sold on consignment. The people he was selling cards for could easily have shilled the auctions just to bump the price up. Never know.

I am waiting on a card from him, but it has only been 2 weeks so happy to wait a bit longer.
