I have always been *****ing about our prices......why does it cost us equivalent of US$47 to ship EMS to the US whereas it costs them US$29 to ship to us?????????????
Well........apparently USPS is going broke and could be bankrupt if the Government does not allow them to delay paying $5.6 billion for retirees' health benefits.
It apparently lost US$2 billion in 2008, US$7 billion on 2009.......and that was even after cutting spending by US$10 billion since 2008!
I think keeping to cost of their service down, in a country with high costs of providing services has made them get deeper and deeper into the red. If they try keep their price of their service as low as the low cost countries like SE Asia......they are just not going to survive.
