Why are you supporting the Heat? (If you are...)

I want the Mavs to win for all the old guys to get a ring but i want the Heat to win cause slobby promised me a Spud auto if Lebron gets a ring - let me find that thread LOL.

i been a fan since '03, i took a long hiatus from NBA and when i got back into it i started fresh with a new team, Miami, because Wade was a rookie and i liked his style. not long after that they got Shaq on board who was my favourite player as a kid, and the 2 of them went on to win a championship which made me extremely happy to see! the new incarnation of the Heat i really love too, ive been a big fan of Lebron James and Eddie House for a while so it was very exciting to see them both join my team, i just wish Eddie got more game time!

the worst thing though about the whole Lebron coming to the heat is getting that look from people when i say i go for Heat. everyone assumes you just jumped on the bandwagon this year.

i want the heat to win because i have always been a lebron fan! my loyalties still lie with the lakers (fav team and kobe fav player) but want lebron to win some rings, i just find it funny how its ok for the celtics to "stock up on talent" but the heat cant and they are "villans" becasue of it! i think its time for people to realise that the heat are going to dominate for many years to come and will only get better also with another year together under their belt and the ability to improve their roster also...also whats "villaness" about taking less money to play together and they are making less money then players like joe johnson...and while we are at it i dont like the mavs either, mark cuban is a complete tool, tyson chandler whinges about every call against him and never gets a tech, jj barea has a face that just makes you want to punch him, if he was painted green he would make a great leprechaun! dirk is just a tall german...lol, and most of all jason kidd used to beat his wife! yeah he really deserves a ring, great role model that, and people pick at lebron!!!!

Yeah it's interesting that House gets no game-time. You'd think with his confidence in hitting shots he'd be in to stretch the zone a bit at times. Had some good games this season, and hit the trey at a pretty solid percentage.

It's hard when you have Wade and LeBron, because both don't take much time resting. So you have to figure out how do you disperse your minutes around them in the backcourt? To get some continuity and consistency with the rotation Spoelstra has tended to only go with Bibby, Chalmers and Miller in addition to James and Wade. They are all pretty decent, but I'll admit at times you wonder if James Jones and Eddie House could be doing damage..

Man this post took me forever to read!! haha! I never have like LeBron & don't think I ever will!!! Too much ego, no sportsmanship, disrespectful to coaches & travels everytime he has the ball!! hahaha! I love Wade and like Bosh, but coz LeBron is there... I dont want them to win... even as much as they all deserve a ring and Miami are an awesome franchise!!! But LeBron is Lebron and I'm no fan at all!!

But then at the same time... Dallas aint my fave team either!!! And they beat my fave team and player (Lakers and Kobe)... but I still want them to win over Miami!! Dirk and Jason Kidd deserve it over anybody!!! I just hope it goes to 7!! It's either teams series!!! But I just love how the so called "best player in the league today" scores just 8 points in an NBA Finals game!!??!! Please!!!!

I don't understand how anyone can say they can't stand the Mavs?! An awesome owner who takes fines and pays out money for players he wants and a bunch of veterans and players who don't do anything outrageous or stupid. I just don't understand it.

Well I started hating the Mavs this season because they just seemed like pretenders, always seemed to have good reg seasons & then flailed in the playoffs. After they swept the Lakers though I had more respect for them & so far they have been showing some true grit.

I only hate the Heat because of the building company they chose to build the stadium

I'm not a Dirk fan at all & i truely believe Le Bron is the best player in basketball and would love to see him get a ring or 2. The guy gets soooooo much attention and scrutiny about every second of his play and he overcomes time after time.

Dirk is the biggest sook you have seen? You musn't watch many games! And you said go Heat and Lebron whinges EVERY CALL and his mouth gets so wide and big it's like a black hole. Come on! Have you seen Dirk storm off to the bench after a call, slap the towels, break Joe Smith's hand and call the refs faggots!! Kobe is the actual King of whinge and Lebron is the Prince of Pout and I could go on!!!!
