Why are NRL signiture cards more expensive than NBA ones?

As title thread says I don't get it considering NBA is worldwide

well not quite correct, there are plenty of NBA sig cards that sell for $2k+, probably in NRL, there would only be 1-3 that would push towards $2k
issue with NBA cards is there sooooo many Sig cards, that they are worthless in reality, NRL cards over the years you only got a few sigs per release...
that's my 2c worth...

Yeah pretty much this is on point, in the NBA rookie autos can go for $1 since they are so over produced, while in the NRL the Top Prospects go for at least $30 because each player only has 1 or 2 a year
