ok...here is puzzling one...back in July I sold a guy on ebay a redemption card of danny granger, I CLEARLY stated in the auction that it was a redemption AND that you will NOT physically receive the card but the redemption code upon payment, this was in bold print!!! now the clown has opened a dispute as item not received! I sent him the code the day after via ebay message...what a douche, will Ebay see the light after I made it clear that the buyer is wrong????

I remember something with Futera football cards, which contain a 'code' that people can use to play an online game, and people used to just sell the codes on ebay. Similar to what you have done, they would email/message the buyer the code after payment was made. However I believe ebay dis-allowed this some time ago, as many people were being scammed. Hope this doesn't work against you mate.

Aram unfortunately as you know, Ebay always sides with the buyer and in PayPal's eyes (if you're the seller) treats you as guilty until proven innocent. Hopefully you've kept copies of all correspondence with the buyer and can still bring up the original listing. Good luck with it all, I'm sure it'll be fine. next time you sell a redemption, send the card that way you protect yourself with tracking etc.
Sad that it's come to this but Ebay is just full of scammers nowadays looking for loopholes to rort the system because PayPal will side with them on most occasions.

unfortunately you will only win if you have tracking and physical prove of delivery
I am not sure if you can win by saying you sent buyer the code. but it is worth a shot. if the dispute is via ebay you have a better chance since they can check your messages
this kind of bastardy behaviour is why a lot of sellers are willing to fork out for postage of redemptions rather than risk disputes

If you've still got the redemption code check with Panini if it's in their system, might add to your case??

Can Panini confirm he has redeemed it? Do you still have the redemption card....if you have it in hand, can you not then claim ownership? Technically, if you have to give him the money back..then the redemption is reverted back to your ownership. Just a thought..

I bought a pair of fake Nikes advertised as authentic. In my paypal dispute the seller admitted that they were fakes. Paypal still want me to get signed documents from a reputable dealer that can identify if the shoes are fake before they award my money back..

Thats a flapping joke.
