My new years rant, i ordered a PS3 last week online on Christmas day and paid etc on the day. Anyway i finally receive an email on Tuesday morning @ 9am saying its left their store in VIC and is on a courier on its way and i got a tracking number (i understand there were public holidays but you will see why im pissed in a sec). Checked the tracking number over the past 3 days and it was showing up as "no tracking number found". Needless to say i still havn't received the PS3.
On Boxing day (Day after i paid for the PS3) i went on Amazon and ordered a bunch of Blu Rays for the PS3 and would you believe it, they arrived yesterday! Before my order from VIC arrived.

It is a disgrace that i can't even get goods from 1000k's away in a week but i can get a shipment from Phoenix the bloody middle of the States in less time

A big :yellow: for aussie customer service!

I had the same thing happen to me (with a card I STILL haven't received)......maybe we are not slack just too laid back (lol) ;)

Not that it affects courier services....but Australia Post had yesterday off as well.

Yeah i noticed this too even though my local postie was open there were no mail delivery's.
I just think its ridiculous that you can order something from the other side of the world and get it before you get something a days drive away:blink:

It's not that we're slack , it's because the other side of the world are behind us so it gives then extra time to get the goods to us

i had a pair of shoes sent from the states on the 29th and on them on the 31st

a sweet pair of Jordan XII Flu Games

oh man i like the thread haha.

Aus post is pissing me off too. All my local **** takes so long to come yet crap I ordered from belgium got here in 2 days.

on top of that

I was gonna start a similar one about why do Aussies need to toughen the **** up.

it started of on this forum with a 15 yr complaing about worst christmas ever, even though he got $500.

then later on that night

a woman (shes 23) I know who has no job was COMPLAINING she did not get enough sleep because her 7 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER didn't give her enough sleep.

She said "My girl kept me up till 10:45pm and I was woken up at 8am".

now even though I have an engineering degree and excellent math skills you do not require one to work out that is more than 9 hours of sleep.

I said "ok what is the problem here I don't see it?"

She said "well because of her now I am tired"

I said "stop *****ing"

she went nuts

I said "you should be used to it those are normal times adults who work go to sleep and wake up for anyway"

her friend said "Since when is a & YEAR OLD AN ADULT"

I said " are you stupid? the 7 year old isnt the one complaining but the mother who is the adult"

she said some more nuts stuff.

I said "your a bad mother if you complain about lack of sleep because of your children who you had and now it is your responsibility to take care of them and not complain"

she went of about my bad mother comment haha.

one of her friends said "it is school holidays give her a break"

At this point i laughed so hard and gave up arguing with idiots.

basically i think this new generation are become soft and wingers. Their kids will be a bunch of spoilt cry babies.
