To build a team around.

Kobe or LeBron?

I personally would take Bron, while its great Kobe has that killer instinct as MJ did. I think Brons skill set and bball iq sets him above any player to play the game (big call I know).

This is referring to the Heat/ jazz game, for me i'd prefer the lead guy on my team be able to see what the best play for any given situation be then just jack an arsey shot to win a game. Sure he has the athletic ability to knock that last shot down but he went with the right play with the higher percentage for the win imo. I hear alot of LeBron should just take the last shot etc but to me a smart ball player knows when and when not to shoot or pass to an open player.

So my pick is LeBron as he is not just the superstar he is a true team player which is what the game is all about.

Hopefully this can be a healty discussion without the LeBron/Kobe homers ruining things.

Kobe for me, especially in clutch situations, Kobe takes charge and the big shot, Lebron shy's away from it and passes it off.Ask me again in 12 months, if Lebron changes that part of his game, I'd choose him.

Agree 100% with this Nick. I have watched every Heat game this season and that dish to UD at the top of the key has resulted in points again and again. Was a high percentage play and even tho Bron had a hot hand was still a good decision.

Im not a Kobe fan but can admit the guy does have a killer instinct. But at the end of the day I would rather a guy the makes the whole team better than someone jacking up shots and making a few.

As Lebron gets better and develops his game even more there will be nothing left to pick at.

i would have to go with Kobe, proven player over so many years. LeBron to me still has a few things to prove. And just on the first post, i think Kobe has a better bball IQ he just doesnt always use it ;)

I HATE Kobe, a lot more then LBJ, but if you want to build a team that will win multiple Championships, not just be good....

Kobe takes it hands down..... I just don't believe, yet, that Lebron has the ability to come through when he is most needed!!!! Even if they win this year, it'll take 2 or 3 at least for me to even start thinking about changing my mind....

As for Heat vs Jazz.... Haslem had shot 4 times ALL NIGHT, in THAT game. In the scenario that was being played out RIGHT then it was the wrong decision by Lebron, he was hot as hell had size, position and ability over the player that was guarding him and they wouldn't have been able to close him out quick enough without fouling him... Thus resulting in 2 free throws that he probably would have iced... Mind you if Wade hit his he wouldn't have needed to!! hahah

That play/pass might have been the right choice in a lot of games, but not that game!!

Yes, Jack, it's good to get these things going every now and then, situations etc change so it an't too bad to revisit them every now and then!

Depends on if you are talking right now for 1 year or long term for the next 10 years, or taking both at their prime.
