Though I'd like to see OKC make the Finals and see KD go up against LeBron again + Would hurt less if OKC won, as it be nice to see KD and Westbrook win a ring
Cavs are more beatable than GSW. They just won a record number of games and they games, they are the defending champs, have the best offensive player it the game at the moment and are deep at all positions. I want OKC to win but you gotta give respect where it is due. Cavs are playing great as well dont get me wrong but GSW have earned the right to be favorites until beaten
OKC need to execute and play to decent game plan if they want to get through this series. To me the formula is get a switch on pick and rolls so Curry has to guard Westbrook and he can take him in the post because he cant handle him one on one and hopefully get him into foul trouble. Get the ball inside to Kanter as much as possible because they dont have anyone who can defend him either. Get Durant on the move when catching the ball so he doesnt have to do too much to create his own off a standstill dribble. Run something better than giving it to KD 40 feet from the basket at the end of games where he is on an island because the will just double him and get it out of his hands. Defensively everyone knows Curry is going to get his, I would be putting Roberson on Klay to prevent his scoring and Durant on Green where so his length disrupts his passing. Russ has to keep his eyes on the prize and not lose Curry trying to help on others and just do the best he can.
Basically the Cavs will have great difficulty beating the Warrriors over a best of seven series. Irving and Love just get abused on the defensive end in P&R situations...and the Cavs offense has always been a bit one dimensional. Their inability to topple the Dubs was one reason why Blatt was ousted. There was a great article on it which I'll try to locate...
Sooo Cavs v OKC for me in the Finals would be a better match-up
I'd love to see anyone punch that damn mouthguard back into Curry's face. It's his big boys dummy and probably well suited to match his pull-ups "I'm a big kid now" great shooter, absolute tool.
OKC v Cavs for actual basketball that would be enjoyable to watch.

Meh - I am not a fan of the guy, just my opinion. However I believe I wouldn't be the only person who would want to see that actually happen plus you'll note I did acknowledge his shooting ability. I tend not to board the hype train I am not a hater, just not a lover . The curry i like comes with naan or rice and I know THAT curry has been exceptional for more than the last 2 years.
Not sure how people call it Hero ball, Andre Roberson is extremely unreliable on offense and the reminder of the supporting team mates are not significantly better. You have two top five guys who carry the team either scoring or creating shots for others. Playing to your strengths is smart game management nothing to do with wanting to be a here

They're playing to their identity; they know and acknowledge that not every team can run a San Antonio style offence with constant ball movement. They've obviously found success with it and it's personnel dependent and Donovan has tried to give Westbrook and KD a lot of lee way in calling plays. It's not that it's wrong or right, it's just that I find that sort of strategy not as fun to watch as GS.
