hey guys we are closing in on the AFL season now and there have been many young stars who have shown their worth this season. this years NAB rising star award is sure to be a close one. here are all the nomination to date

round 1- Daniel Rich, Brisbane
round 2- David Zaharkis, Essendon
round 3- Patrick Dangerfield, Adelaide
round 4- Jaxson Barham, Collingwood
round 5- Garry Moss, Hawthorn
round 6- Stephen Hill, Fremantle
round 7- Jack Ziebell, North Melbourne
round 8- Jarryn Geary, St Kilda
round 9- Andy Otten, Adelaide
round 10- Taylor Walker, Adelaide
round 11- Brad Dick, Collingwood
round 12- Aaron Joseph, Carlton
round 13- Tayte Pears, Essendon
round 14- Jack Grimes, Melborne

ok thats the list to date. who do you think will win and why?
personally, i think either Rich or Grimes will win
 
Grimes by a small margin, hes averaging like 85 supercoach points a week at the moment.
Melbourne need something cheer about this year.
 
I think grimes will take it out.

Shame Hamish Hartlett has had some injuries. He was looking very good for the power. And if he can get back for injury he'll get nominated

yeah he was looking good, hopefully he gets back soon and plays some good footy ;)
 
yeah nic nat has done some good things but hasnt put a whole game together, i was at the port vs lions game, and the courage rich showed is amazing, he just went for it and didnt care if he got cleaned up, then went back into the middle with no fuss at all
will be a superstar

Natinui has not even come CLOSE to winning a nomination so far.

1. Grimes does have a chance, Otten hasn't
2. I didn't say that he should have a nomination, i said that he has more than 3 kicks.

Otten will come second. He would be the only guy seriously pushing Rich.

He has been the most consistent out of all the nominees but playing in the midfield, Rich gets more of the glamour etc

Have you heard the commentators when Otten has the ball? He is VERY highly rated mate and general consensus in football circles is Rich, then Otten.
