Man there is some bias in these games, Shayne Hayne needs to go back to the tanning salon, and gould slater this inglis that, bloody hell Eels were robbed, so were the tigers, this crap is ruining the game

Girds you are an absolute tosser!!
You are so pathetic, you can't just cop a loss on the chin and get on with it.
The common rule is the best player on the ground is generally given to the winning side!
Melbourne were the better side on the day.
And one bad decision against your mob is all you need to start a rant about how you were robbed..

How can the call the players thiefs,cheats & liars?
In what way were the Melbourne Storm players cheats, thiefs or liars?
They didn't lie to anyone, they didn't steal anything as they won a hard fought contest and they didn't cheat as they did nothing which could be classified as cheating.
The umpire made one bad call!

Melbourne should've been given a penalty or a penalty try when Greg Inglis what taken out 5-10 metres from the line!

when melbourne scored the(supposed) winning try in toyota cup against west tigers
he clearly did not ground the ball and he got up and celebrated nothing (cheating)
and of corse being dishonest is (lying) and because they took the win they are thiefs thats everything explained to u champ it pretty simple and self explanitary
same with slater in firsts

Lol everyones bias in some reason. In true tho theres always bad decisions in a game and inglis did get taken out everything evens itself out eventually and tbh parra only played well for 20 minutes of the game. They got beat by a better team and you cant blame the ref call for slater when parra didn't score in the first half. Thats why they lost not because of the ref but because of their first half.

I agree with this statement

I dont care what the final score was, the whole first half , Parra were never in the contest.

Honestly, I am struggling to remember even seeing eels use 1 decent 5th play option in the first half

That razzle dazzle that got them through to the grand final, was eventually going to be controlled someday, and that day was today, by Melbourne, who were by far the better team in both attack and defense.

And i seriously don't see how blaming the ref for a bad call, cost the eels a win???

they were no chance after the first half they played!, sure momentum swang there way for a brief 8 minute period late in the second half, but storm were dominant the majority of the game and were going too win.

And i do not agree with Billy Slater being Clive Churchill Medalist, but since Inglis had a farkup in recent months, they couldn't give the award to him...

I do not agree that Fui Fui Deserved it either, he was alright today, certainly not medallist material.

I think the medal should have gone to a player on the losing side.

Nathen Hindmarsh Defended his bloody arse off in that game and made a good amnt of hitups as well.

I think he should have gotten the award

Not a huge NRL fan but watch/go to Dragons games and some TV games and from what I seen the storm played better for most of the game, Parra was on a roll and that was a ridiculously bad call with the penalty there at the end, parra clearly had momentum and had a chance to tie it with another try, instead, had to give the ball over which allowed for the 1 pointer to virtually seal it for Melb.
Disappointing when a ref has such a big impact on a game - regardless of the 0 points in the first half etc - a game is not won in the first half, it was up for grabs right up until that guy blew his whistle.

Hindmarsh was absolutely smashing em on defence, played great, Hayne had some shocker/misplaced kicks, Slater played alright.

Anyway, my 2.3cents............

A game is won over 90 mins. First half gave storm the win. Yet again refs will give bad calls always. There were bad calls that went parras way as well they just couldn't convert.

couldnt be more true the extra 10 minutes is spent with the refs deciding who they are going to disadvantage before the game
