I won't be watching the game. The NRL has been ruined this year by inconsistant refereeing, over commercialisation of gambling ads, a media sponsor (Channel 9) that doesn't care about what the fans want, a pair of senile old men in a commentary box and piss weak rule changes like the shoulder charge. I have decided that the most important day on the NRL calander isn't a priority because the NRL have failed to make the fans and the game itself, a priority.
Rugby League is a mere shell of the glory days and the spectacle it used to be.

Unfortunately I can't find an argument in anything in anything you say. Which is a bit of a shame.
Still, it is the GF and it's the culmination of the Rugby League season, the thing we all put our heart and soul into every year as supporters and collectors.
I've had a crap year supporting the Bulldogs (despite making the 8 they really were disappointing) but it's part of our culture so I'll follow it all the way.
I'm for the Chooks tomorrow, 24 - 18.

Goes into unlimited extra time and they play an extra 100 Minutes With a dozen injuries each and neither team recovers and is the same again and doesn't make a GF for another 20 or so years?
Was that too far

Big Momma's House won this afternoon. I can sadly say, I didn't watch the game and I didn't once feel the urge to have a look. I found out the result via facebook.
Hands up the people who took Roosters by 8 . Pity one of the resons why I didn't watch the game was due to gambling ads being shoved down our throats by Channel 9. My morals won't allow me to gamble on Rugby League because it is one of the main reasons the game is being torn to pieces.
Well the rub of the green went to the roosters way, some bad calls by the refs, Manly had the game, but SBW decided to wake up in the last 20 minutes and pretty much won the game for the roosters, no SBW no premiership for the roosters...
