Any reasons Why you think it would be those 2 teams guys above?

I think st kilda will win it,

They are a great all round team and have lots the remaining 5 teams do not have,

Key Defenders, Dawson, Fisher, Gilbert. blake, ray
Ball magnet Midfielders, Montagna, Hayes, Goddard, dal santo
Key tall forwards and small forwards, Scneider, reiwoldt, koschitzke and milne
Good ruck duo of king and gardiner
Taggers who do a great job baker and jones

You look at other teams and they do not have great depth, The bulldogs do not have a dominate forward the same can be said for geelong inconsistent forwards and they rely too much on their midfielders to win them the game,

Adelaide are a good side they have good forward depth but lack in the ruck division and they wouldnt have the legs to run with a side like geelong or st kilda,

Collingwood as you saw last week once their prime ball winners are shut down they have nothing, Anthony is a young forward and doesnt have enough experience to play a loan hand up forward and cloke cannot kick straight enough to be a goalkicker,

Brisbane have a great forward duo of brown and bradshaw but they dont get enough out of their midfield, plus with only clark in the ruck and brennan as a backup they will get completely dominated in the middle against the big men of the saints or e.g minson and hudson,

Basically I believe Geelong will win because of their wealth of big-time experience. Also I think having Ottens back in makes a crucial difference. Also I believe they will be the hungriest after last year. And they have the best midfield in the league ie- Ablett, Selwood, Bartel, Corey.

It would be a great Grand Final between them and St Kilda though, and potentially very close, but I'm thinkin Cats Just!

Geelongs wealth of big time experience really stood out last year ;)

Either Adelaide or Saints..... Adelaide on form and the way they are coached and being healthy
and saints have a near perfect team on a good day if they can stay focused and healthy

Yeah agree, i think the saints are big chance, but i believe adelaide have a better spread of forwards, a underated experienced midfield and if bock can get back, an ok defense. As for adelaide not having depth i believe your rather wrong, they have a very even spread, as well as a good mix of youth and experience. And the legs? Your kidding right? They're known for being one of the fittest sides in the AFL, they have little to no injuries, and the way they have finished off their last 2 games (all be it against moderate opposition) they have finished full of run and destroyed teams.

The saints look the goods but their possible undoing will be leaving dawson in the side at the expense of Hudghton, and i know it's going to be difficult but if a defender can get on top of saint nick, they'll struggle.

I mean to say that when you look at the saints running players and the crows there is no comparison, Adelaide are a hard running side i know that and thats how they play but look at these players who are speedy players for the saints,

Fisher, Gram, Ray, Goddard, Gilbert, Hayes, Montagna, Dal Santo, and nick reiwoldt who doesnt stop working,

Im not saying the crows don't have this all im saying is it would be hard to match when your centre half forward/full forward reiwoldt doesnt stop working.

I reckon Geelong matches up with that;

Key Defenders, Scarlett, Enright, Milburn, Taylor, Harley, Corey, D. Johnson, Wojcinski(?)(Gives good run)
Ball magnet Midfielders, Ablett, Bartel, Selwood, Corey, Varcoe(?)(Gives good run)
Key tall forwards and small forwards, Mooney, Ottens, S. Johnson, Hawkins, Byrnes, Stokes,
Good ruck duo of Ottens, Mumford(?)(Great around the ground)
Taggers who do a great job Ling

Any comments on that?

Your key tall forwards and small forwards don't do alot, your leading goalkicker was 41 for a tall forward in mooney, small forward was 39, St kilda Reiwoldt 68 koshi 45 and milne 44, Chapman and johnson have been injured which isnt very good going into the finals, ottens didnt even touch the ball much in his come back game hes not in finals form, and with the ongoing injuries with the backman all you have to rely on is your midfield without those guys you have nothin.g

Yeah highest was 41 and yet we kicked the 2nd most goals for the year.

Ottens is playing good after coming back from knee surgery. I'm happy with his performance!

We have the best backline in the league! If we have Scarlo we're fine. ;)

Just don't say we have nothing obvioulsy we do!!! [-X

If you look at the Saints vs Cats game, we lost by 6pts, had injures and was only a home/away game and we all know how Geelong perform in finals! :worthy:

The second highest goals in the league and your highest being 41 goals shows how inconsistent your forwards are you would expect being 2nd in the league to have at least one player in the top 10 for goals, I didn't say you had nothing, i said without your midfield firing you have nothing, and you may have the best backline in the league but can you stop Nick Riewoldt and Koshi? I guess we will find out by the end of September then you can tell me all about it how good the saints are or how wrong i was.

Look at the funny side on ebay, people are forking out hundreds of dollars on predictors of the final six when clearly im guessing its out of 2 at the moment thats saints and geelong, no need to pay $60 for a collingwood predictor they easily lost to saints and with pendles out and having to play geelong if they beat the crows its just silly to waste your money.

Wow, much more spread than I thought it'd be. Though it seems a few aren't taking this seriously. I mean 3 for Brisbane? Adelaide are rated pretty highly for flogging a second-rate opponent like Essendon! We did also get beaten by Richmond, WCE and Freo! Must admit it would be a bit of a fairy tale story for the Crows to make the GF. I think they actually won their two flags from fifth.

Go CATS!! Good one liamsaraz! ;)

The cats backline is pretty good with Enright, Mackie and Scarlett
