i had a look thru nba.com, i havent followed teh game in about 7 years at least. anyway, i was surprised to see that clifford robinson is still there, the old blazers forward, he is 40 years old. wow
also saw dikembe as well.
so are those 2 the oldest and most experienced guys, i think they had about 17 years each.
also amazed to see how the mighty have fallen, guys like webber, etc who used to rule the league now relegated to the bench, pushing 10pts a game.
not too sure what happened to the big dogg, but i can tell you that Gary Patyon and Alonzo Mourning are still playing. both on the same team too. i know Payton is in his 17th season and i don't think ZO is too far behind!!
it was very much of a cinderella story for both of them last year as they each won their 1st NBA title with the Heat last year!!
all comes down to mental toughness, its easier for role players to keep playing...superstars tend to fade out and have to change their game just to keep playing...thats why guys like Horry and PJ Brown etc are still playing today.......payton...a superstar now a role player.....Zo is still playing fantastic though...just amazing
