There been plenty of hype in this short season.
I think these guys are having their best season. All would be All Stars for years to come if Gortat was from the USA.
Bynum and Parker went from rock solid players to having their names put up in MVP talk. Lin went from bench to All Star in a game and Gortat has been a savour in Pheonix.
Who will win ?
the difference however is that he hasn't played in 2 years, remember no team wanted him.
If you use basketball reference, who break it down per 36 (who knows why 36 and not 48)
Lin is the only one who has made significant improvement, the others output has pretty much stayed the same: http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/l/linje01.html
Lin shouldn't win it simply because he hasn't played half of the season. I think it's likely gerald green to win it because besides stats, it's a feel good story about making a comeback and the NBA loves that sort of stuff.
Ersan has been a standout for the Bucks once bogut got injured and if Skiles had half a brain he would of made better use of his accuracy (near 50% FG & 45% 3pt) but sadly he only averages about 10 shots a game. Ersan will be a free agent at the end of the season, hopefully he is picked up by a coach that sees value in the effort and accuracy he brings.
