Well it's been a long time (over a year and a half) since my last real Larry Johnson mailday. Although this one has to be one of my favorites of all time....I'm going to make you open it to see it ha ha! 8) Since I wasn't home and needed to sign for the card, I got one of those letters in the mail saying I had to go pick it up tomorrow at the post office. I couldn't wait, since my post office is open to 7pm, I knew it had to be there before they closed today...sure enough it was! I couldn't wait!
....1998-99 Fleer Ultra Masterpiece :!: :!:
These scans don't do the card justice at all! Needless, to say I'm very happy to get this card in my collection. It's found it's true home lol...Thanks for taking the time to look.
Bloody awesome Patrick! Congrats on the pickup - I know what it feels like to pick up one of those for the PC And I know what you mean by saying scans don't do the card justice - they are just things of beauty huh ?

Do you remember the DACW debacle from a few months ago, where they advertised for sale a bunch of cards, and then when people ordered them online they weren't removed from sale and a bunch of people thought they had bought the cards ? I got it then
Have already posted a reply on HK but - I'm stoked u have found a card Patrick - No one and I mean NO ONE deserves a new PC card more than u. Will now cross the fingers for u with the meeting with David - I think u will pass out with delirium if he agrees to sell what u need. Just don't hug him to death......

Thanks Al...! I should hear from David sometime next month. He has to go through all his stuff and they are at his parents house in storage. I will cross my fingers too, but he isn't the easiest guy to work with as you know.
Your right it has been a long time since I've picked up a card like this for my L J collection. Although I collect "anything" with him on it and I pick up new things all the time. Mostly magazines, pictures, uncut sheets, oddball items, etc...that keeps me going!
