There are a lot of records wilt has that I don't think will ever be topped, I read one somewhere also that Wilt had 9 consecutive triple doubles, crazy stuff.
I voted for the 20-20 stats. I always think of 20pts and 20rebs. Rare as hens teeth these days, but still a select bunch of bigs who'll do it! 20pts and 20asts would be damn-near impossible these days, and Triple Doubles seem to come dime a dozen in today's Seasons, even Jose Calderon had one just the other day!
See about that, you have people like Rondo who actually TRY to break records (pass backwards on an open layup on a fast break). The guy will do what he can to get those stats. Back in the day, those stats came naturally. Jason Kidd & Grant Hill's 3Ds in the mid-90s were natural too, but when it comes to assists these days, people seem to forcably try to get them!
Kobe's another who seems to TRY to break scoring records, rather than just trying to get the W with his team.
i would pick triple double.
a 20-20 is kinda great also, but then again F/C will dominate that with pts and rebounds, yet PG will dominate with pts and assists..
too monoton, and boring..
triple double is a mix of those categories, so you can see F/C must add 10 assists to complete their 10 pts + 10 rebounds, in order to create a triple double. and vice versa, a PG must grab 10 rebounds to complete their 10 pts + 10 asts.
