I hope its Melbourne! On the footy show last night it was reported that he has met with Melbourne, Hawthorn and Essendon. Apparently Hawthorn is out of the picture becuase nothing really is attractive to Port (Pick 9 is too high). With Dean Bailey as the coach at Melbourne (former Port assistant) I believe that gives us the edge. I wouldn't be suprised if a player like McLean went over to Port (good player but with Scully coming in and maybe a second midfielder, + Sylvia having a breakout year I don't think there will be much room for him). The only thing that may steer Melbourne away is that he is nearly 27 years old, they may want to keep a pick or a younger guy.
Mclean to port!!!! wake up dude!!! he is Melbournes best player.... thats like carlton saying, lets trade juddy for griffen..... aint gunna happen in a zillion years!!!
I think hawks might end up with him. 2nd round draft pick and a avg/good player...
You seriously think he is our best player? Have a look at the midfield stats and effiecentcy and you will think otherwise, he is no way near the talent of Judd. I also said a player like McLean, he was just an example

And being a HUGE Melbourne supporter, let me be the first to say PISS OFF BROCK YOU LAZY USELESS BASTARD! If Port want him, I'd gladly trade him for their fat, overweight, twice deceased runner who has 1 leg and no eyes....It's slack, lazy bums like him that will make it hard for us to get back up the top of the ladder...
Burgoyne to Melbourne...interesting...could work as he does have a few years left and the Aboriginal culture seems to be strong with us.
im a hawks supporter and i reckon that lewis will be traded to port because port need strength and weve got enough strenth like:
hodge - not so fast-
mitchell - not so fast-
brown - not fast either-
so i think that we might need a bit of speed in the team.
i say trade lewis for burgoyne , not that i dont like lewis its just hes a fair trade for burgoyne.

I know it hasn't been mentioned by the "experts" (and probably for a good reason that I can't think of!!) but I can't believe that Burgoyne hasn't been linked to Richmond and his former team-mate Hardwick (and now Lade as well!!)
I would love to see Shaun at the tigers but he is asking for $500 000+ which is a lot for a player who just misses a season, whoever gets him should trade player for player as draft picks are gonna be hard to come by in the near future, anyway good luck to hm o hope he finds a good new home

LOL port adelaides staff have no F@@king idea what their doing, I find it all a big joke, at the seasons end the big man president or whoever it was said "All our players will be considered for a trade, Yes Even Kane Cornes," Burgoyne says he wants out and they have a big cry and say no we don't want him to go we want to keep him, I hope he leaves them and for very little because the club has no idea.
as a hawks supporter, id love to get burgoine... but not at the expense of lewis
pick 9 (as we already have a huge stable of kids) and a middle tier performer, no problem... if they all stay healthy and have a full preseason, wow what a midfield
