Just realised Lebron will quietly enter into the top 25 NBA all time scoring list by season's end. He's just turned 29 and figure he might have 6-8 more seasons left in him, especially the way he looks after his body. So I'm wondering where he'll end up on that list when he finishes his career. Personally I don't think he'll catch KAJ or the Mailman but he'll overtake Jordan for 3rd all time. What do you guys think?
I'm unsure if he'll continue 27.5ppg for the rest of his career; he's never averaged that many since he joined the Heat but that could easily change if he joined a team who needed him to score 33ppg...
I think he'll play another 8 seasons, play 600 games minimum and average 22ppg for them... So I think he'll end up with a touch over 35,000 points.
But even if he beat Kareem, I think KD will outscore Kareem.
I'd say second. He won't get to first place - unless he stays until he's forty-something and continues to score over a thousand a season once he passes thirty-seven.
