I've joined the Women's team this year, we only play Twenty20 and the first game is on November 11, I have no idea where I will bat, or if I will bowl my medium deliveries, hoping to field slip though - I have great hand eye coordination and can catch well
Bat: Left Hand Opener (More your traditional opener)
Bowl: Right Arm Leg Spin (Average of 5)
Field: 1st slip/2nd slip
I was more a bowler than a batsmen. But i went from batting down the order to opening i guess cause i had solid defence and could get through a few hours while making some runs. Though i once took delight in belting 50 in a few overs off a Leg Spinner i particularly disliked who i also took delight in keeping out of rep teams. Like all left hand batters i loved to pull leg spinners. Stopped playing cause of a shoulder injury unfortunately.
well seems I am a natural as wicket keeper, lol just had a bit of a practice match at training and I had a go at Wicket keeper, I'm now the backup keeper.... fun times
Batted every position from 1-9
Bowled slow medium outswing (think the opposite banana bend to Chris Harris)
Fielded everywhere, a few seasons at short leg, a few at first slip, a few at cover, one even as wicketkeeper.
Update: Just read the other threads - better add the stat's bits
High score 135
Best bowling 6/21 (off 17) if a certain catch had been taken it would have been 7/13 including hat trick - I forgive you Paul - NOT!)
