Six2sixallstars and Probstein always pop up on my ebay watchlists. They always seem to have awesome cards to sell. They're a fantastic source of high end cards and have bought a few off them with the latest being just a couple of minutes ago :) Just curious to know what their stories are if anyone knows. How can these guys have a constant supply of such high quality cards?

They're consignors.

I've sent a few of my high end cards to them to sell. They do all the work & promo, and then you get approx 90% of the sale price, which in my experience is higher than 100% if I sold myself. Not to mention eBay then would deduct 10% in fees etc from you as well.

Ahhh, so that's why they always have such quality cards available for sale. Well I'm glad they exist. Some of the standouts in my PC were purchased through them.

Also explains why six2six didn't accept my buy it now offer and proceeded with an auction format.

Not sure about the 10-30% premium. Most of their cards are sold through auction so they can't really control the final end price unless they shill bid it, which I am confident they do not.

Nah it's not shilling, its just that it attracts a bigger audience so more people bid = higher price.

Six2sixallstars is a complete shiller IMO. His stuff is constantly being relisted with the EXACT same pics. All of a sudden his Jordans are reaching records and above average prices.

Probstein has plenty of critics also but I've won things from that seller and have never felt like I've been ripped off, just always seems to be fair market value.

I was bidding on that Jordan but pulled out after it shot past early 300's which is where I thought fair market value was at. Was gobsmacked when I found out it ended at $426 - over a hundred dollars premium

From my experience I recon six2six is legit as well. Have bought 3 high end Jordans from him recently which I thought were at or below fair market value. He might be getting a bad rap due to shill bids from the owner of the cards. I recall when buying the metal galaxy from him, I asked why he is listing it when he previously had one for sale just a few days ago (didn't know he was a consigner at the time and thought it all came from his PC). He said that the card is being relisted because the previous winner was a non-bidder. This sounds to me like a shill bid by by the owner gone wrong. I ended up winning the card for fair value and over $100 less than the failed shilled bid.

I've bought from both before hell some of my most highend are from these two along with the likes of mini-sea, it might just be the timing (owners not shilling) but i think their fairly legit.
