Forgive me but i tried looking for an existing thread that might of asked this question before... Basically i've got some sets of Non-Sport cards ranging from 50 card sets to 120 sets that i'll be looking to sell soon...
was wondering what the best way of sending them was?
and how much roughly will it cost? including packaging costs if i need to buy some boxes...
I recently brought a bunch of cards of eBay. The seller had them all in penny sleeves, then wrapped them in brown paper, then bubble wrapped and into a box. All cards arrived safe and sound. Cost $8.40 Registed Post (box wouldve fit two house bricks in it side by side to give you an idea of size)
I would use the 50, 100 or 150 count boxes made by ultra pro or pkk.
Then after that you will need a box just a little bit larger the set.
Best place to these is in a local party supply shop. Go and ask them for very small empty boxes as you are packing stuff. Most of the time they are grateful you take the empties off their hands.
Postage cost should be around $3-$5 depending where you are sending it to.
Postage is going to be more than $3-5. For a small parcel <250gm it will be $4.60 but for up to 500gm, it will cost $5.60. Anything heavier and it will cost more. And remember, cardboard is heavy. So really, it will be anything from $5 up.
When I've sold sets i've sent them in those A4 sheets that hold 9 cards, bad terminology there but you get the idea i hope, and have wrapped them up in bubble wrap and have just put them inside a massive flat bubble wrap bag again. So it's like two layers of bubble wrap and it's worked a treat every time
Im with sash, I would use the Ultra Pro clear plastic boxes.
They are very tough and hold the cards very safely.
Into a postal box, as Ersk said postage depending on weight is where it will hit you.
not too familiar with sending 'bulk' amount of cards mate, what the members have said already is basically all the info you'll need mate . if u do send them in an ultrapro countbox that would be a good idea, just make sure the cards arent loose in there. theres many points u gotta take note of, just pack it and send it the same way "you'd like to receive the pacakge", and im sure you wont have any dramas mate . cheers
